Yeah, the best friend is clearly unhappy, jealous, and insecure about her own life, so in her attempt to try to replace OP, she ruined everything. As far as OP snooping through her husband's phone and laptop, it's probably best she keep it a secret for the sake of her marriage. It's gonna be difficult at first with the guilt of doing it and all, but that should subside over time provided there's no more suspicions about her husband.

I swear Reddit people can be so toxic lmao. In every relationship story there’s always comments that bring up affair and infidelity like “your spouse is definitely cheating. Dump them or check messages.” It’s giving projection of their own bitter experiences in love I’m sorry

@@haydenlindley7313 Is giving poeple of the internet are crazy and shouldn't be giving advice to vulnerable poeple and ruin their lifes even more. Cheating happens, but is not in every single case and the fact that poeple projected their insecurities and ruin this person's life is a problem, specially when the idea was that the husband cheated when he was SA is really sexist and horrible. So I guess poeple shouldn't call out toxic poeple apparently...

@@TheDarkOne1920 the internet is going to judge regardless of peoples feelings and OP put her and her husbands life on Reddit for strangers to judge it’s sad but there’s going to be people who’ll accuse and judge too harshly all the time, should she have gone through his phone and suspected him of cheating after being SA, NO, but I can understand her feeling insecure especially when everything with her best friend just happened

@@haydenlindley7313 I can also understand her being insecure after that heavy betrayal, but you don't go into your partner's phone to find evidence of cheating. You go talk with your partner and explain how you are feeling, that would show more trust than going through his phone and if she wanted more proof, talk to the ex friend. And yes, poeple are always gonna judge, that doesn't mean is less of a problem, it will still be a problem and is really horrible how poeple have double standard, because if the genders were reverse, I'm sure poeple would advising here to press charges, but because it was a guy that got SA, "Oh he most be a cheater", and I will defenetly call out that double standard of the horrible poeple of the internet. Is really sad and horrible that men victims of SA are treated this way.

@@haydenlindley7313 Yes poeple of the internet are always gonna judge, that doesn't make it any less of a problem. It's still a problem that as a society we should address. So I will for sure call out the double standards and judgment of the horrible poeple of the internet. Because I'm completely sure that if the roles were reverse and it was his guy friend assaulting the wife, poeple would be advising her to press charges, but because it was a guy that was SA, "Oh he most be a cheater". That is truly disgusting, on 2024 we are still treating men SA victims very poorly. Also I understand her feeling insecure, but the answer is never going through your partner's phone to look for proof of cheating. Is having a conversation like an adult with your partner to explain how you are feeling. And if she wanted more proof she could have gone to the ex friend from the start, to ask for an explanation and her doubts would have been answered. But she fallowed the advice of sexist poeple so I'm not surprised of the outcome of the story.

More stories of someone that sees OP flourishing at a party and finds a way to wreck it. Who asaults a married man in a house full of people? This isn't a telenovela or a RomCom, he's not going to throw away his marriage because he got kissed. Even when she met their baby girl: "When she held our daughter for the first time, she "accidentally" sat in my husband's lap." "She apologized profusely and asked me to not end our friendship over this". What friendship? I wouldn't have told her that she's nothing to me, I would have said exactly that, "But you're not a friend, you haven't been a true friend in years, at least now I know".

Okay wow but the comments telling OP that the husband could’ve been covering an affair after he was upfront and honest with her and after he was basically just SA’d. honestly OP’s husband deserves the kind of pampering from OP that he gave to her. Freaking gross how the comments accused the husband of something when if the genders were reversed everyone most likely would’ve been like “SA!!”

In the very first story, the main protagonist should immediately get rid of her ex best friend because she knows that she's extremely wrong for trying to break up her friend's happy home. The main protagonist's husband had every right to react like that because even he knew that her so-called best friend was in the wrong. Alcoholl only makes your inner thoughts and desires come out, and the friend was definitely jealous and very envious too. The main protagonist has gone from crying in her husband's lap to straight up trying to accuse him of having an affair behind her back. She's got an amazing man who truly does loves her. She owes her husband a huge apology for even thinking that he would ever try to creep on her like that. All of those people who told her that her husband is cheating are all probably in bad relationships themselves. She's just got to come clean and tell her husband every single thing that she did because she knows that she was all the way in the wrong here. I love you my precious friend!! Have a great day!! @@Maya_heeno did you not listen to the whole video, she went through all of his stuff and found nothing and confronted the friend, every thing lined up to the husband not cheating. The ex best friend was trying to steal her life.
