Hi Richard. Can you get a sense of what differentiates the small and large kits? Is it just the size of the conical diffuser or are the other components differently sized as well?

@@SteveSSBB Hi Steve I can give you the dimensions but I only have the large version, the active part of the flash reflector is 11inches high and 10.5 inches wide, the flash diffuser is 11 inches high by 10 inches wide, the bonnet at its widest is 11inches across and 7 inches deep. Following my previous post regarding adaptation to the Velcro...it is a personal thing and does not reflect the capability of the product. I received an Email regarding this from the seller asking for details, I personally think this is great, I have watched Stewarts video many times now and I think the difference in size is from the lens bonnet, if however your not sure my communication with the company has been very positive and all question answered within 24/36hrs

Also, using which of the two gives a better result, extension tubes or a reverse lens adaptor? Thanks for your time?

At the beginning of last year's winter I was out in the garden with a 2x objective lens on and its 210mm of extension. It has a 17mm working distance. I'm just about to pull up that years Common Mullein weed when i thought what could be hidden in the remains of the huge leaves. Down in the junction of the leaf and stem where unmistakable eyes, but light was super low and all i could manage was an out of focus shot before it was off. Luckily they must have enjoyed their stay as I've recently seen youngsters running around. I recently saw an adult chewing the remains of meat of a flies wing whilst hiding in the teeth of an old timing belt which resides around the girth of the Chiminea. I took enough shots to workout it's a Zebra jumping spider, Salticus scenicus which is a lot smaller than yours. I have a 20mm ext ring on my 2:1 lens and it's still small in the frame. The babies are super fast runners and smaller than an Ant and so far my planning skills have failed. Hopefully if we ever get any global warming the Regal will move here.
