My BEST Nidoking Deck SO FAR! - Pokemon TCG Pocket

Nidoking and Nidoqueen are a TON of fun to play, however I do feel like they lack a bit of power and consistency. This is a deck I do love returning to every now and then, and unfortunately, running two stage 2 lines is just a little bit rough. Hoping they add some Exs to this in order to strengthen it. That being said, this is my STRONGEST Nidoking deck I think I can make! It's fun but not incredibly strong, although it could make quick work of Mewtwo since hes weak to it and this can curve out nicely!

Would nidoking muk work? They are both have expensive attack costs, so probably not. Idk might make a fun KZbin video.

I feel like this deck needs more outside support to get going. Most of the decks are so fast that having to both, get 3 Pokemon to stage 2 + all the energy they require, is really rough. While having a 2/2/2 might seem optimal, you're just having more cards that clog up the deck instead of focusing on what you really need. I have no idea if running 2/2/2 King 1/1/1 Queen and freeing up 3 slots for Potions or literally anything else? I'm still waiting for full release so I don't really know.

So, full release is here and, yeah, I'm running into precisely these problems. Honestly though, the Nidos are some of my fav Pokemon, and I've gotten some fun wins with this deck and I'm excited to keep tinkering with it as I get new cards and new ones come out. I will say tho, it is pretty easy to tell when you've been beaten early on with this deck. When someone starts with like, a bunch of EXs on the field and have a ton of energy on turn 2, and I'm still trying to charge up my six purple rabbits, yeah it's gg lol

Funny i thought it would be funny to run this combo deck for lols. Not saying i had a orginal fresh idea but least it was organic on my end. I always seem to play toxic builds like glass cannons or ones that need build up to work. Its like i enjoy hard mode by osmosis. Lol

Agreed, if you’re not dealing 90 with two energy the deck is at best B tier the meta is just too fast with star ie ex and pikachu ex rn

@@dilutedskiff6840 eggy is good too. I've been crushing with exeggutor ex plus beedrill. Beedrills one cost allows you to stack energy on to exeggutor for retreating with. It's very deadly.
