@@codectified Flashdrives are extremely rare. When I meant that you will have to find them in the raid - I meant that. You will not be able to buy them from the market. And like I said, they are super rare. In many hundred hours of playing, I managed to find only 3 (I played before wipe).

There are many headsets in game, and they greatly affect how much you hear in game

@@mengosaurus Headsets dampens gunshot sounds and enhances some noises, like footsteps and general movememt (like enemy changing firemode click noise etc), some people can't play without them, some people hate them dearly (like Anton, who would throw it away if there's no room in backpack, even though it's worth a little bit of cash just to sell), there are about 5-10 headsets, all with different sound profiles.

Certain quality of life unlocks only happen with quests, so if you are level 40 grinding factory and still haven't unlocked certain ammo is fail and more expensive in the long run. Doing quests from the get go will help you level especially if you can chain quests that happen on a certain map. Just gotta ignore the PvP sometimes while you do them or you'll die so much you won't be able to finish quests if it requires you to survive the raid and/or turn something in.

Stopped watching Shroud when I stopped play PUBG probably early 2018, used to get chicken dinner once or twice a week playing only after work with a few friends on duo / squad, then Tarkov happened, it's hard to play any other FPS once you're addicted to Tarkov... look forward to seeing Shroud get into it more and more and help Pestily and Veritas to push the boundaries on how to perform in the game (probably will be a while he can touch those guys though)

I feel you. I tried cs:go which is fine. I'm in middle of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. playthru (it has some similar mechanics tarkov has). I play apex which is so different from tarkov its just pure no-brainer fun. But tarkov has made it quite impossible for me to play any cod, battlefield, pubg or their clones.. the games that have "real" guns without real mechanics to mod and use them. And their combat is lacking.. shields either give extra hp or reduce damage but there is none of this piercing math tarkov has (which isn't realistic but its closer to real life than most games or even any game out there).. and add the facts of bleeding, bones breaking, blacked limbs (again, none of those are that realistic BUT they give that immersion, they give that fear of getting hit, they give new mechanics for different medical stuff and a reason to retreat to heal if needed). I do play and try out other games but Tarkov is the core. Agree with you dude

take things into a raid, kill people/loot/do quests, leave the raid. If you die, you lose everything other than what's inside your secured container. It's not about "winning" as much as the experience. Even when you are just walking from point A to point B it's tense because you could get shot at any moment.

You shroud you probably don't need to do customs to level using quests, you unlock ragman quests at level 15 and they're all on interchange, they give good xp. Also the mechanic ones are good

Man, I feel like Shroud and I would absolutely DOMINATE in Escape from Tarkov together. With both of our aggressiveness, aim skills, and my knowledge of the maps and such, it'd be sooooo fun. BUT, that'll never happen I guess. I love Escape From Tarkov, and definitely love Interchange. Probably my favorite map, although the new Reserve map is pretty damn sick as well.
