I at least, don't really take the game seriously that much, but mainly cause I have to play it casually due to time constraints with work, etc. Making money is not that hard. It kinda is based on knowing what items cost/where they spawn, willing to sell items just sitting in your stash (Which is something I'm trying to stop), having some knowledgeable budget loadouts and overall experience with the game. I couldn't give you an exact answer on how to make a bunch of money besides just sell everything in your stash once it gets full. Too many people have too many routes and ways to get money. For me, you're coming across someone who's casually playing the game for a couple hours, barely, 3-5 days a week. And I'm trying to do quests to level my traders and such. I actually kinda care about that stuff. I know many of the top players don't care for quests and REALLY care about some loyalty levels, but I want to experience the game in it's full and I'll spend whatever amount to help level my traders and such. My play/stash style has change too many times. I've thought about being more aggressive/sneaky with my scavs, I'm learning not to loot everything as soon as I get a kill, learning kill spots in order to survive and not waste money. I just hit a million the other day and it felt great tho. Sorry for the long reply. Felt needed for a topic like this.

For anyone curious: the 7.62x39 cartridge is known as one of the best to learn to shoot with (in real life) because it's demanding in terms of requiring significant sight adjustments even at ranges as short as 150m. It's really not the laser beam that you get with 5.56 nato/.223. The AR-15 is much easier to shoot well thanks in large part to this. therefore the AK gets a reputation for inaccuracy when the real problem is the end-user's lack of understanding.. shroud may be complaining about bullet drop on heavy, slow bullets but the truth is it's imitating real life. Try hitting something at 300m with an AK zero'd to 100m assuming no wind. It's tough.

Hearing him talk about how the zeroing in this game is weird because at you hit the same place at 25m and 100 is funny because that’s how it is in really life with an m4 the barrel is slightly pointed up so it’s rising at 25m and dropping to the same point at 100m

Zeroing in this game is actually on point since pretty recently. It used to be wrong to the point where some scopes where unusable and changing zeroing distance didn't work as intended. I think a lot of people just get the drop of the different ammo and weapons wrong. It's vastly different. Zeroing is working well and hit where it is supposed to as far as I know, and I have tested it extensively. With some ammo and guns you will even have to account for when the distance to the target is 25m off from the zeroing. Also some ammo and weapons have such a drop that if the scope i zeroed at say 50m you will of course hit high at close range. 9mm, Val/VSS, ASH-12 are examples of ammo/weapons that have a lot of bullet drop and the bullets travel very slow.

Take painkillers to stop the "pain" during dehydration. This will clear the blurriness. Just don't forget you still need to get fluids before its to late... This will exasperate the problem by tanking your hydro into the "damaging levels" as the commentors have stated. Although, if you're in a bad spot, it's an option.

hey shroud just wanted to say i know this is late, but the whole zeroing issue is actually more realistic with a 50 meter zero reaching a flat line up to 200, thats how an m4 will actually shoot, of course its different for every ammo type but for the most part, military intermediate cartidges will shoot flat until about 200 meters before dropping, what id like to see is winding implimentation in the game, now that would be realism

Sadly thats how most rifles perform to a t. 50 the round is rising still, 200 drops to about the point where 50 was, after that it's lost so much velocity gravity takes it crashing to the ground. Atleast with .223 / 5.56. A chunkier boy will fly a lot farther before gravity digs in if it's fast enough!

Ha that's exactly how zeroing works in real life. Normally you will have two distances at which the zeroing is exact, since the bullet first curves up and over you line of sight, then back down below it. Drop off after that is gonna be fast

Your goal in EFT is doing task with NPC trader, looting, and get the hell out of there in the time. (Double tap O to see where to get to extract zone.) It similiar to battle royale because limited times, but i confirm it isn't.

So ballistics on 7.62 is transonic around 350 meters so you have a significant drop around that 200 and 300 meters.

For zeroing.. IRL a 36yd Zero using 5.56 will hit within a 6" inch target from 20m to 275m Aim at someones head within that distance range and you'll hit. its not weird.. its actually realism.

You have pmc controlled by a player Scav, scav bosses and raiders are AI And you have the player scav. A scav with random loadout controlled by the player

A player is just anybody who has found a match. A scav is an NPC. A scav player is somebody who is doing what is essentially a "free run". Basically, every 20 minutes you can deport into a match as a SCAV and you're basically controlling an NPC. They give you a free gun and free armour and stuff but it's not amazing which is why they are generally easy to kill as a player. Regardless of whether or not it's an NPC. I hope someone can respond giving you even more detail but that's basically the most important part.

The speratic bullet drop is realistic because once a bullet drops beneath Mach 1 (speed of sound) it basically loses all of its force in seconds, comparable to shooting into a pool of water.

Google escape from tarkov. On their website. Be warned, you have a lot of learning to do before you can play even half as aggressively as shroud/content creators. This is not an action-packed game. It's a survival game that has amazing gunplay so that the fights feel incredible when they do happen.
