Trev you are doing the backspin wrong. What you’re doing right now is adding more loft so the ball go higher. To do backspin you have to use the right thumbstick while pressing L1. So left thumbstick controls the loft and fade/draw shots and the right thumbstick for frontspin or backspin. I love PGA 2K and I hope to see more videos from this series. Love it 👍🏻

If you hold L1 and move the right stick down you can get a little more distance on your drives because it controls how much loft you want on your shots. I recommend using it off the tee and/or any time you want to extend your drive a few more yards

If you hold L1 and use the left stick to play fade for your hook instead of moving to the right on fairway or green.

Can't see what clubs you are using Trev, but have you tried clubbing down when chipping from the fringe of the green? use like a lob wedge or Sand wedge... significantly reduces the roll!

Loving this series, Trev! Definitely beef up your clubs/stats so you can consistently drive 300+yds. Also, when chipping, think about two-thirds/one-third, so chip/pitch the ball two thirds and let the ball run out the final third - really good tip.

I just want to let you know that I love this series and I got the game because of you. I used to play golf regularly. Not great, a 14 handicap, but I loved it. However, I am 72, partially disabled, and cannot play anymore. I doubted that I could do this but I bought the game and I love it. I am playing on the easy setting while Iearn it . Thanks, my friend, for opening a door for me. Can anyone tell me how I can name my player? I cant seem to find a way to do it in game.

Go to the main menu and go to my player. You will find all settings for your golfer there to customize it. At main menu use L2 and go all the way to the right on main home screen.

When you chip try not to baby them because the roll from a quick chip will be much greater than if you use some backspin and shoot it properly, keep up the great work love the series!
