Thanks so much for the amazing reaction to this video! I've done a little follow-up video where I show some further changes I made to the programming and reverb after listening with fresh ears - you can watch it here kzbin.info/www/bejne/aYbcqmCNoruhqac

I have all those libraries, P samples are amazing for layering. I just purchased glass strings, I have to say for the price, it sounds fantastic. Sounds beautiful buddy 👌🏻

Thank you! Yes I was deeply impressed with Glass Strings. Forget the gestures, just the sound of the library playing sustains is intimate and beautiful. Great for this project and many others. Thanks for watching!

I bought Glass several weeks ago but haven't had a chance to crack it open yet. I was hoping it would be an evolution from "Murmurations" (which sound fantastic but lock you in with THEIR built-in improv gestures (gets old pretty quick)

Beautiful piece of music! Yeah, what is the deal with those automation lanes that get created in Glass Strings? I posted a "bug fix" comment in their network threads but no one replied. I've been erasing the first pass and rewriting it with the pencil tool inside their secondary lanes because, if you noticed, its impossible to edit the automation in the normal lanes. IDK whats going on with that but we should probably email a proper bug fix request to make sure they know. ill do that today.

Thank you! Yes it’s rather frustrating but hopefully they’ll release a fix soon

Nice, just a small hint: Please let it play WITHOUT TALKING in the first place. After that you can talk even about your Grandma. 😉

Thanks! Trying to balance brevity and letting the music be heard! I’ll keep this in mind. Thanks for watching

How much gb of ram are you using for this? I am thinking of getting BBCSO pro to start out with, after experimenting with the free version and learning how to manipulate velocity expression and midi volume and modulation.

Any particular reason why you're not picking the newer 2024 SSO lib? Still on sale for 398€ if i'm not wrong. I'm tempted to grab it but my wallet says i shouldn't. 🙂

Very nice sound shapes, but legato strings have no transientes, or much softer, its very obvious with the single chello. Everything needs to be woven into each other, with soft

Yes I know it’s far from perfect - a very quick demo for the producer to say yes or no to then I can perfect it more
