My BEST & WORST Luxury Purchases 2023 | Holy grails & utter fails; Hermes, Chanel, Dior, Cartier...!

50k is insane for prespend. I get you’re at a competitive store but that’s a lot of spend for someone your age and circumstances. Unfortunately competition is high right now in a lot of places but there are stores where prespend is more like 2-1. Seems like it would be worth flying elsewhere. 50k invested earlier this year would have had returns of 15-20% in the stock markets. Hermes is nice but it’s not without its issues imo. Because of its over saturation in the media it’s also no longer quiet. Really think about why you want this bag. Today most seem to want it because it’s Hermes. The brand isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be and the games are bad and the Sas are very spoiled.

Yes;; personally I wanted to get my bags earlier than later so I’ve gone a little fast and furious, but I suspect that after the next bag or two I will be satiated 🌚🌝 I’m definitely over this whole ambiguity over what needs to happen before an offer, as well as a few things that have happened at my particular boutique that have irked me 😂 I am considering moving to another boutique, depending on what happens in the next couple months!! Well at least the bag is nice although I would never spend my money on these handbags compare to the Goyard. The Goyard looks like a cheap plastic bag IMO.

As an alternative to the Chanel mini, I would suggest the Fendi mini baguette. It’s so versatile, about half the price and amazing quality.

I have recently been looking into Fendi!! I’ve especially been wanting to look at some of their fur bags since Fendi is so known for them but sadly California is not permitted to sell any furs 🥹 Thank you for the suggestion I will take a closer look at the baguettes next time I visit the boutique!! 💕🙆🏻‍♀️

the cartier love bangle fits me weird as well, so it's not just you! plus everyone has it which really takes the shine outta it. VCA fits perfectly because it's a bracelet and can be shortened to your wrist

Great video! Can you do a designer shoe collection and give your thoughts on what you think was worth it vs. not? So many cute styles but I'm always picky about which ones I buy because some have been so uncomfortable!

Yes!! Designer shoes are so beautiful but it’s such a gamble on whether they’ll shred your feet or not 😂 I definitely have some favorites so I’ll try and compile a list!

Also, i shop at Washington DC, only one boutique here.. prespend ratio is about 3.5~ 4 to 1. So don’t feel bad!! Haha. And i got first quarter bag B30 just like you!! So enjoy the journey! I love to go shop there my SA and manager are fabulous! Once in a lifetime experience! Love it!

The djoy fits more!! It’s not a crazy amount more but the small djoy, while more like a mini size, is definitely a bag whereas the miss mini is a wallet on chain! Happy new year to you as well 💕🐉

The Dior slingbacks look really cute! I had considered them in the past but thought the fabric might be too tight around the toes, are they quite comfy around the toes? HNY!

They are so cute!! The shoes fit true to size and my SA has told me that the higher the heel, the more comfortable/roomy the toe box is! Mine are the 4in heel, but I would have sized up 1/2 size if I had chosen the 2.5in heel height. Personally I don’t feel any discomfort in the toe box area, but I think it also matters what material you pick (another subbie said her embroidery ones rub against her skin and are uncomfortable)! Hope that helps 🥰

The Dior sling backs I have some, the heel is super comfortable but the embroidery on mine rub on my feet so bad. I need to find something to counteract that! It HURTS. I love the way they look but the way it feels is horrible!!😢
