Mmmmph!!! This is such a defining moment in a friendship. My takeaway from this conversation is that we are human and capable of just about anything. If not for the grace of God, we are all very easily and constantly not “being good friends” yet needing to have “good friends”. May our focus always weigh heavier on being good friends.

Loved the conversation! I agree with Phi that Bridget needed to have communicated better and I also agree with Misty that we should definitely reduce our expectations of our friends. But otherwise, well done ladies.

I think let’s not make excuses for bad behavior. It’s unacceptable behavior from partners and so it is for friends. And sending care packages as an apology still doesn’t communicate clearly that one is sorry. The only grace I can extend to Bridget is that she’s 23 but there’s still time to learn from it and be a better friend. If her behaviour goes unchecked, she’s going to be that friend for life. Bridget needs to reach out and verbalize her apology and then the two can talk about their expectations of their friendship going forward. And if she never does reach out, I’d advise Nakawere to cut her losses and worry about herself. Orrrrr if she really still wants that friendship, reach out and ask for the apology and the tough questions about what their friendship means. Also…. Thanks ladies for being the big sisters a lot of us didn’t have. ❤

It's been some time since I was 23, but I would still beef Bridget at my age 😏😏. It's okay to tell your friend you are afraid of the process and let her look for an option. Why ghost her? Just tell her the truth so that she doesn't count on you . Bridget is a bad bad friend....

Oh yes!!!! As you grow, you sometimes just fall apart with people. Not because you've fallen out....you just realise that you've grown apart. And that's okay.
