Your perspective how you view the set up and it's development of the aquarium as an environment is quite fascinating. Feels amazing just to look at your kingdom creation

You can totally bring back the blackwater tank if you're leaning that way. Towel on floor reenactment...I felt that hahaha. I saw a sneak peek of some cling wrap on that neighbouring tank :D

Leaning towards that direction! I miss the blackwater look! Hopefully the dry start tank turns out... it's not looking good right now 😳

Although it's not black water anymore, but your betta fish seems like enjoying his environment. Thank you for caring & giving him a best home, I was really astonished by your creations.

I think somewhere in between clear and blackwater is the sweet spot in a tank like this. Plus your betta will love you for a some tanins
@WorldofWhasian Жыл бұрын
Luckily we still have a slight tint! Thinking about converting it back

@@WorldofWhasian In my last blackwater tank I used to just rotate between tanins and clear depending on my mood 😅It's tough when you don't have space for both!

Another great video! Question: If you have to feed the beta every day what do you do if you are going to be away for a week or so?
@WorldofWhasian Жыл бұрын
Most tropical fish can actually go with out feeding for up to two weeks! There is enough microfauna that fish begin to hunt and have food to graze and snack on.

The carbon in filter reduces tannin. But given u only have one betta in the tank i don't think it is necessary to have a filter though. Just use a pump for the water fall.
