Tip number two: weddings shouldn't cost so much. Put more money into the honeymoon if you think that something like that can affect your marriage in a postive way. We spent 3 weeks in Hawaii instead of putting like what $25,000? into one day that had us both riddled with anxiety over. Everyone was happy enough to give gift certificates and cash toward our trip too😊

The biggest thing for me though is I can totally understand her repulsion when it comes to his off-hand remarks. In plenty of instances she's mad at the wrong things, no doubt. But when this dude (you don't know is an actor) sounds drunk and mad that you won't get in the hot tub with him, that's DEFINITELY going to cause tension. If it was just the "clumsy, socially obnoxious oaf" stuff, I think it would be a different story. But he's definitely been a creep. To your credit though.... I think this show probably would have been just as effective on her if you eliminated his creepy vibes. She seems far less concerned about that stuff and more worried about him displaying proper manners, lol.

It’s crazy good, because I also haaaaate him when he’s acting like the annoying sex pest. But in the one on one interviews he’s sooooooo nice and likable 😭 I’d also have such a difficult time if I thought I was going to have to marry him, even for pretend. The thing I don't get is that she only wins the show if nobody stands up and objects at the wedding, so why are they making them do sex therapy and convince the the sex therapist too? It wouldn't make logical sense to invite the therapist to the wedding, much less if they actually stood up and was like "I OBJECT!" The sex therapist, the SEX THERAPIST, or the wine tasting girls, omg; it would have to be scripted. Imagine your wedding is going off without a hitch, except your fucking sex therapist stands up and objects, "..as a sex therapist, I cannot not approve."

Tbh if I was her, I’d put on my best act I ever did in my life. Like all that money is at stake. The only thing that would make it super hard for me would be the creepy shit. Like, first continuously trying to convince me and push me to look at eachothers bodies while changing after the massage is already weird and annoying. And then also acting too drunk, while being half naked in a hot tub screaming for me to come join, over and over, and then proceeding to come and look for me throughout the whole house like that while yelling my name is just so fucking scary. Especially if he would have done that while I was alone instead of with the camera crew in the room. Then having to go to bed alone, while knowing what he seems to be after all the time and already not respecting my “No’s” is just a terrifying experience overall. Especially if you’ve already experienced a guy crossing your boundaries before in the past.

This whole convincing your best friend to attend thing is wild. Because if her friend chose not to that friendship is over. You'd beg them to come and if they said no even after the reveal you would never be able to be their friend again. They not only completely went against you, but they also just cost you half a million dollars for doing so.
@ssnakebbite.
@ssnakebbite. 2 ай бұрын
bruh it's def not that deep. tbh it would be more meaningful if a friend was so worried about you marrying someone not meant for you that they not only told you, but made it incredibly clear that they were against it. a yes-man is not a friend. someone who tells you what you dont want to hear because they genuinely care about your wellbeing is.
@LostSoulsmusic22

@ssnakebbite. complete bologna. If you begged your friend to have your back and do so little as showing up to your wedding and they decide not to, simultaneously costing you half a million it's over babe. If you're telling yourself any less than you're lying to yourself.

@ssnakebbite. I get the whole yes men aren't your best friends concept. But not showing up to your "best friends" wedding is far an beyond voicing your opposition. I think if she tried that, the TV show would disqualify her on it. The point is she needs to convince them she's marrying that guy as well as them actually approving it (or at least accepting it and attending the ceremony.) Getting them to consider ulterior motives sounds like it breaches that. I mean, before she goes out there, they even tell her she needs to tell the friend that she fell in love.
@botanicalitus4194

I think they did stipulate that she cant tell anyone that she is not really in love with him.
