Wow! Etta, you definitely went shopping. It feel like Christmas. I love everything you got, I got some similar items but full sets. I am jealous of the Rosa Gallery Acrylics beautiful colors and lots of pencils. I have also bought so many pencils but from Faber Castell and Prismacolor pencils here in the US. You are going to love the Shinhan watercolors and i wanted to mention that the tint set you got is consider a "hybrid" watercolor which is a mix of gouache and watercolor to transition you into using gouache! Well happy holidays with that these items, can't wait to see them in action.Just get something to try by the week to make the video, I did this last year and it took me some months to try my items and still miss some.

😅 I did a lot of shopping, I know. And it really feels like this is my Christmas present. I definitely don't need anything else this year! Oh, this explains why the Tint set really felt like playing with gouache. Thank you so much. I think it will take me all year to play with all these supplies.

Blocks can break easily in transit, the 'dirt' is just residue from the darker coloured blocks

All the little blocks have the number on them of what the colour is, so you can look them up online to figure out the exact colours you have :)

Roman Szmal Aquarius Violet watercolor nr 369 is really, really amazing.After adding water, it separates beautifully into several pigments. We popularly call it "Plum".

Amazon does nott do a very good job of protecting art supplies when they ship them. Art supply stores know how fragile art supplies can be and pack them accordingly..

I never had problems with Amazon in the past but I heard lots of youtubers complaining about this exact reason. I guess it depends of which art supply you order. Those blocks are very delicate...and beautiful!

Next year is only seven wks ago 😅 loved the haul. The mai meri paints are stunning!!! Can't get the rosa new colours in UK, we always loose out!!!

I’ve had this problem with derwent too! A misprinted metal box broken pencils, not ok!

Broken pencils? That is really not okay! I think they slightly changed the packaging with the new line, but their product are not cheap and should be preserved better.

A few years ago I bought a large collection of daniel smith dot samples and I have made many small paintings and have palettes I made from the colors I fell in love with. Great way to explore. Very fun haul! Have a great time!😊

I may want to collect a few of each actually. I have been doing some experimenting and realise that the procolor layers very well on top of acrylic while the drawing were a fail😊 I guess it will just depend on the type of project

You are so welcome. I adore Gamsai Tambi and have the original set in the green box (42) and I have starry nights (golds) and gem colours and just treated myself for my birthday to the opal colours (irredescent white with colour shift) as you don't have to activate, just use and with only a slight amount of water they are like gouache and perfect for colouring books. Your baby sounds adorable in the background xxx

I can't wait when rosa gallery puts its gouache on international market. It's so pigmented and bright, really nice quality, too bad it seems they don't sell it abroad yet. rosa actually does a lot a lot more than watercolors, it's all kinds of paints (oils, acrylics, gouache), very nice brushes, paper, sketchbooks etc. I hope they expand further and become more availible outside of Ukraine. Can't wait for your review of the acrylics, I haven't tried them myself yet, but the opinions I've heard were mixed. Curious to hear yours!
