My husband and I began camping when our first child was about six months old, at the time we couldn’t afford to go on a vacation we spent money in a hotel so we started camping in the back of our pick up truck! Baby, but we made it and then we moved on up to a truck camper that was on the back of our pick up truck and we had beds and a small kitchen, we had two other children and we began camping with them also and every summer we would take a week or two vacation in our travel trailer, we called our hotel on wheels and it doesn’t cost much to park it at a local resort or even out of town now the prices of RV parking has risen quite a bit, but there are at RV parks and resorts that you can take advantage of, but I pre-prepare the food before we leave so I don’t have to take time at each meal to prepare the meal. All I have to do is either put it in the oven or microwave it or put it on the grill all the burgers are shaped and formed, and other things that we eat and I pre-plan my meals! And I use mason jars to store my prepared food of course the things that won’t fit in mason jar are use aluminum foil and I freeze everything before we leave for our trip and then put it in the refrigerator or freezer in the trailer and I make breakfast sandwiches for our breakfast, and I always have lunch fixings available for sandwiches and other food items for lunch and then for dinner is when I have pre-prepared in Mason jars or aluminum foil the evening meal I don’t store anything in packaging. I have bought plastic containers from target dollar tree And other places for organization in the trailer or camper or even the back of a pick up truck and Rubbermaid bin, I keep a picnic basket in the backseat of our pick up truck with snacks in it and we always keep a small cooler with ice for our drinks while we’re out for the day. We don’t have to stop at a local food place and get food there are so many hacks and tricks for camping that will save you time, and you can enjoy camping, another thing I do is a prep prepare homemade biscuits, cut them out and freeze them uncooked and then I store them in a Ziploc bag and put them in the freezer and when we go camping, I keep the biscuit dough in the freezer and if we won’t one or two biscuits for just the two of us now just take maybe four biscuits and cook them, y’all enjoy the adventure of camping, especially with children always always remember camping, our children are adults now and they still go camping and they often talk about the memories of camp when they were children and teenagers and young adults and now they have their own families and they’re making their own camping memories

Moab is Breathtakingly Gorgeous! I’m sorry Ozzie got an ear infection and neither of you got any sleep. Stella held up very well. And her pretty little pudgy dirty face was so stinkin’ adorable!! This was a fun to watch sweet video just the same ❤

We always put cute little hats on our kids to keep their ears covered when its windy, which can cause earaches. An old fashion remedy is to put a few drops of warm almond oil (or any oil really) in their and cover it with a cotton ball. VIOLA and good night...ZZZ ZZZ

Try bringing a thermos full of the hottest water, chamomile tea bags, local honey(as local as you can get, and not from your grocery store), from an Apiarist. Some soothing sips of tea with honey can calm, comfort, the swallowing can help the ear. Also cotton balls in the ears especially if windy and sandy or dirt blowing, till you can get back home to address the issue. Hopefully she does not need tubes in her ears.😊❤

My family just we to Pinecrest in California It’s a beautiful Lake with great fishing and views of the mountains ⛰️ there was still some snow on the ground and the tops of the mountains 🏔️ Really cold at night. Always keep a hat on your kids' heads when it's windy to help prevent ear aches. My mom always told us 2 things would give us ear aches, water, and wind. She was always right about those things. Wear thick socks with roller skates to prevent blisters is another little tip from her.

Sometimes you just need to rest no matter where you are. I’m a little “jelly” of her. As an adult, it seems to be unacceptable to just lay all sprawled out in the middle of a trail while hiking but not s much for adults. This needs to change. 😁 Thanks for sharing, I adore your cute little fam.

Not a very good place to camp because there’s nothing to do there but very beautiful ❤ Our campgrounds here in Coastal South Carolina are very nice with lots of trees and wildlife and plenty of people to visit if you want to and also rivers, ponds and creeks❤
