Hello my friend, you are doing a very good job there in the forest. But, when you joining boards with long screws it is a good practice to lubricate them. I use wet soap or Vaseline but you may use any oil you have on hand. Please keep up the interesting job of building a secluded shelter. Maybe one day I am going to use it.

With respect, may I offer a hint'n'tip ? All this cooking in aluminium foil is very practical and gets good results, but over time leads to aluminium poisoning, which is linked to dementia. When cooking in aluminium foil, please to line it well with leaves, to soak up the aluminium oxides as it heats! For your health. It will also protect the food better from burning, so you need less foil. I love these videos...

I watch a lot of these off-grid, out in the wilderness, bushcraft cabins, shelters, dugouts, etc... And, I gage them all with one question, assuming they REALLY are out in the wild wilderness-- "It looks all nice and cozy with a lot of the creature comforts of home, BUT (here it is): "Is it BEAR and SNAKE PROOF???" If it isn't, it's just a backyard fort man-cave.

Amazing 😍😄 job and work preparenedness in going to the wild, with many things you have to take with you are going to, you have to bring food & water, tools axes and woodsaw, I thought this is so natural when you want to go with wild. Like what you did and have knowledge to start everything when building your shelter using dead woods. Keep your ❤️👍 good workmanship at best... Good luck to your film channel..love you sir..God bless..!!💓😊🔥🙏😍😄👍

@eror151
@eror151 2 жыл бұрын
it depends on where you build them, if you make a path for the water to go there is no reason for it to flood the shelter. One thing one should be keeping in mind is that it should be built in a hillside and not at the bottom of a ditch where water would tend to accumulate
