Today we're moving on in our La Passacaglia Rosettas journey with a 170 piece rosetta that doesn't even fit my camera!
These are hand pieced, English Paper Pieces Rosettas from the Millefiori Quilt Book.
But it's for a very good cause, because today we're making lovely pink flowers and adding it to our rosetta.
There is only one rosetta left, can't wait!

You stated that you are making a larger version of the La Passaceglia quilt, how did you come about the size of the templates? I bought the book yesterday and the templates, did I do the wrong thing. Maybe you should have stated which book you are using and the sizes. Thank you I’m really enjoying watching this progress. ❤

Hi, welcome to our La Passacaglia group! When I bought the digital version on Etsy, because I couldn't find the physical templates when I live, they had 3 choices and I picked the middle one. The smaller is the one that's true to the book. I'm using that book for the rosettas, I'm just debating if I should follow the scheme they provide completely or just take the rosettas and create my own combo. This project is still very much activw, I just haven't had the time to make the pieces for the larger rosetta, the final one, but I will take care of that in January, I promise! Can't wait to make my La Passacaglia rosetta and I'm very happy you've decided to join us! 😁

Hi! That's awesome! I would love to say I'm working on it but I can't seem to find the time unfortunately so it's still waiting for me. I think about it a lot though 😬

@@seweasybysandy haha, I know what you mean. The star points are insane, I found myself putting it down for a few weeks because of those star points but am back at it. Small bites, at this pace, it may take me 4 years to finish but I will get it done! I am doing flatback stitch so nothing visible on the front at all. This will be my masterpiece… one day haha!!
