Mike, with thicker edges of concrete, you should have someone tap the forms. This will make the front edge look better by removing most, if not all, of the air pockets, and will cream it up, making it easier to finish.

Menards sells damaged plywood for $10 per sheet. You can dig through the pile and take what you want. I always check the pile when I’m in the yard and buy any 3/4 that have. Usually it only has one small damaged area.

just curious, 16:22 why wouldn't you just add some of the dig out to the low corner and pack it down, instead of piling up gravel? Because after time, wouldn't the gravel be pushed out by run off? Looks great either way, keep up the great work! Enjoy the content.
