Lol my problem is once I do something out of comfort zone...I either retreat because I'm scared of rejection or to get my ego bruised or I get comfortable at that new level and cruise. 2019 for me is going to be about putting myself out their! Taking the steps necessary to get where I need to go! Being productive and not busy! Living for me! Love, Patients, Consistency, Discipline, and all that good stuff lol.

BIg mood and big goal: Put my passions first. I work in the world of media(post productions, directing, producing...etc.) Many times, I get wrapped up in working on everyone's projects that I neglect myself. I had a podcast that was really good, and I made one youtube video... Other than that, I've been overwhelmed with working on others projects. To encourage the focus of self, I TOOK MY WEBSITE DOWN, and will be working on my projects. (a ninja will be getting sleep and working on her passion projects) Next, I can be hard on myself, and I used to try to hold onto people that are toxic. I tried to fake positive(social media perception and how I want people to see me, even thought I maybe low key dying from depression lbvs) , and the shit stressed me out. I have now learned the art of "loving thy self, and treating myself right". I am a damn good person and sometimes its okay to listen to self, AND TO STOP comparing myself to others...! Next, because i am a good person, if someone doesn't fit/want to be in my life... I let them evolve in their life,,,and right up out of mine.lol. I accept this transition and growth. Just continue to be more loving to self, and to keep watering my soul. Side Note Sis : YOUR HAIR IS GROWING LIKE WILDFIRE (or should I say wildflowers) love it !!!!

Thanks for this video. I’m currently studying for my supplementary exams that when I pass I’ll finally be a bcom graduate. The idea of it being the end of a chapter feels scary. I’ve wanted to explore my creative side more in the past year and closing my accounting chapter to fully pursue my dreams has been scary. In 2019 I look forward to making dreams that seem impossible to others, possible. At the end of 2018 I put your theory of being shameless to test and created an event called self love picnic centered around wellness for women. I beat myself up for it not being perfect that I strayed even further away from my entrepreneurial side. But now I’m realizing how monumental that moment was, how that picnic changed the trajectory of my life. I was going be stuck in an Accounting job I hate purely out of comfort and now I’m going after my dreams, which in the short term look like me using technology to further my love for being creative. I’m based in South Africa and the creative world is elitist but idc anymore, rather I die knowing I tried that live my life wondering what could have been.

Being open to love and all that it may bring after being so determined to protect oneself has to be one of the most daunting experiences of my life and it doesn't just happen after you've made a decision to be open, its the practicality of that decision like the courage needed to go out and be vulnerable. Your feelings are your compass. If you are feeling negative, it just means that what you are thinking is in opposition to what your inner being truly wants. Reach for a better feeling thought. We sometimes put an expectation on ourselves to jump back into a positive outlook when it is a gradual process. We have to be patient and kind to ourselves first.

I've known you since you've shaved your hair lost you for a moment and went back to you because I found one of your video on the kickback (grownish) I'm happy to see you grow and flourish into this confident and lovely lady. One thing that I've learned from 2018 is that I cant force anything or anyone. Some people lack self-love and its hard for them to love others. I can't pour all my love into them because it's not reciprocal and I cant save them if they're not willing to take risks in order to save themselves. I’ve always been fearful of taking on bigger roles when it comes to jobs, which is why I had so many in a short amount of time, quit & always “start over” almost at a different job. Costeno beach and surf club? It will be memorable...make it happen! I never got on the flight leaving Colombia with what I thought would be a 2-week trip. I ended staying for 3 months! The people were hospitable and even families whom I did not know offered their homes to me. I went solo without knowing anyone or even booking a place to stay. Kind of flying by the seat of my pants. It gave me a new found a deep sense of the goodness of people at a time I needed it the most. I get preventing connection (if that was what you were alluding to) with certain people/situations to avoid conflicts with differences, as at times I cop out as a means to avoid being "polluted " by others presence. When my mental & spiritual being should be directed on how can I positively effectuate every person and situation. Always applauding your inner and outer growth. Much warmth. Health, Peace, Love and Protection to you, your family and your loved ones in Jesus Christ name Amen!

I love this. Thank you for sharing. I really resonated with a lot of what your said. For me, I kinda started my 2019 in November by getting off social media. This helped me block the access information you were talking about. Man, I feel like I'm more sure of myself. I follow my gut more. And I have time to focus on other activities like practicing French (ayyeee Duolingo & Tandem) and reading all types of books (Love Children of Blood and Bone!). But now that we are officially in 2019, Adventure is my theme. I'm taking more risks, being shameless, and pushing past the fear to gain much more. The challenges are already starting. Right now, I'm currently planning to negotiate more money from my job and if I'm not satisfied with the number then I'm getting a new job. I never advocated for myself in this way so it's kinda nerve wracking but i'm excited. I'm excited to grow, learn, get paid what I'm worth and put my funds towards debt, savings, and a much needed wardrobe. Other goals I'm excited for are: yoga teacher training, making moments with family and friends, creating my food and travel blog, and preparing for grad school in 2020!

I feel so crazy that a young women like yourself should be an inspiration to me an older women in my 60's but you are.
