BJ it's a simple fix for your project. Scan the covers and/or pages to print high res copies. Please don't cut up those books! Long as you're not selling the prints, it's legal.

Instead of cutting up the originals I would scan the books and edit something similar to your desktop image. But making a collage would probably be more fun.

Good eye! The image on my desktop is the one I made in photoshop for this exact purpose. My next step is getting it printed somewhere so I can paste it on the box.
