Posted this video to my 8,200+ LinkedIn connections and made the post public with the hopes that the video would reach as many people as possible. I absolutely loved this video, and the music took me back to when I was 9 years old and thought I was going to be a 'Rock-n-Roll' King. On a personal note, since I was 9 at the time 'TOMMY' was released and living in Germany, I did not get to see The Who in concert but being a 'Rock-n-Roll' kid, I had listened to many of the songs that are played later in this video.

Outstanding, I was 9 when this came out and my 2 older brothers listened to it constantly so I learned the singing part, Jack ( oldest brother played guitar) Jim, the brother in between was a drummer who could read drum charts. He took lessons from Judy Garlands long time drummer. I’m 65 now but The lucky part was I could still sing very high notes and knew vocal harmonies from my father who was an arranger for the four freshmen, the precursors to The Beach Boys. Those were great times and I thank you all for such an amazing interpretation of this classic. My old hats off to all of you.

Tommy first came out when I was in my mid teens. That was a long time ago... I have to admit that I did shed a few tears while watching this masterful performance of the iconic rock opera. Thank you to Sina and the whole ensemble for a beautiful "trip down the memory road" as it were. Proof that young musicians CAN play really good music.

As a longtime fanatic of the movie (not so much the stage version), and a lifelong musician who knows every note and word of the soundtrack, I was prepared to be less than blown away. I couldn't be more wrong. I'm normally not big on "reimaginings", this struck a chord (sorry). This is beyond excellent!! As a long-time Sina fan, I should know better. The talent and energy held me throughout.

Those thirty minutes went by so fast, and certainly better than what passes as entertainment on TV over recent years. Thank you Sina for providing many hours of enjoyment since i stumbled upon you six or so years ago. Have a great 2025.

I was at a performance in 1989 that left me feeling much like this incredible performance does. A man there said something that has stuck with me over the years. I wish I could remember his name and properly attribute this to him. But Sina, "Some people throw money, some people clap, and others just say WOW!" Each project you bring to us is somehow grander than the last. Really liked all of the people involved you have an uncanny ability to bring the right people together for each session. Loved it.

This is a truly amazing display of musicianship and hard work. Congratulations to all for an incredible performance. Above all else, it is apparent to me that Sina continually evolves as a drummer, producer and arranger. Those Keith Moon fills are no easy task to learn and execute perfectly. I closed my eyes and imagined that I was sitting directly in front of Keith. And it turns out that I was :)
@jyrivirtanen412622 сағат бұрын
Just like Pete Townshend, Sina has proved to maintain artistic ambitions for big projects, which they both can keep hatching for a long long time, regardless of all the effort and huge amount of bills 😉 That’s one of the reasons why I support Sina. The widescreen shot of the studio with the large number of the personnel in the studio with all the equipment shows the wide scope of the whole scheme. Even before, all the musicians in the project have proved out to be the best combo to bring out the real essence and core of the Who’s intentions. The guitarist even looks like Pete with his posture and gestures 😊In addition to that, all the lead and harmonic singing is wonderful here! I know that Sina loves Keith Moon as a drummer and so do I. He broke all the boundaries: He was wild, creative and unorthodox to the utmost and still, he was the glue in the band and could carry and support all the other players, often even humming along the lyrics 😊 My heart fills with joy when I see Sina play Keith, she is the best drummer to do that!! She’s absolutely the living motor and heart in this whole thing for me. She’s just like Keith, the throbbing heart. I like Tommy opera, for sure, but I must admit that some of the songs are just average in this opera but there are two songs that reach out above the usual and end up to the level of immortality: Pinball wizard and I can see for miles, and the renditions of both in this project are more than I could ever require. They are priceless diamonds that are needed to make this opera alive. Super duper thanks to everyone. You are fabulous and I love you all so much!!

Little Lady, you give me back the hope in humanity. I am full with joy that you back. I had the good fortune to play with some of the best drummers (and many of kinda good but..) When I discovered you in your early carrier you were as the DRUMS it supposed to be. I was sitting at the edge of my seat to cheer for you to get back to the One after a fabulous rool. And you always did it! When you started to study i was sad that you lost some of your wildcat groove .. The greatest, Charly Watts, Ringo, AND of course Keith Moony had the heat and the rebellion. Real music is nothing but all about emotions ! Music is all about the perfect imperfection! Lady, now you are up to Keith Moon! Dont try to chase the perfection of a a drum machine ever again, please. A very small note, In my first so 8 years I started as a base player. What I discovered that this kinda music is not just the drums alone. It is the drums + bass together the rhytm force. The Who would be a lesser band without John Entwistle in my humble opinion. Keep and eye on your bass player as your extension. Anyway CONGRATULATION all of you. Beautiful and talented YOUNG! people I have pretty much enough of old fartz overtaking the music scene. Keep on rocking !!!
