long vertical tubes up the side of that cylinder with high and low branch pipes into the cylinder is asking for trouble, the cylinder will have a different amount of expansion to the pipework this will cause fractures in the cylinder wall around the pipe joints. I also see some galvanized BSP fittings :(

I did the manufacturers course for daikin. Was great. Nice bit of kit they make.

Bang it on some SpeedFit. Set it on 50c fixed flow temps, no legionella, no lagging or isolation or filters. Leave a bible-sized instruction manual with no system design information. Anyway, that's pretty much howe every Daikin I visit is installed.

I'm looking forward to this .. although I have seen other installation videos some time ago, .. it will be good to see a REAL installation video, and perhaps get to do a proper unbiased performance test, and lifetime cost at the end which includes servicing and replacement parts. I don't believe they will last the 13-15yrs as claimed, and still achieve a claimed 80% cost saving. Yes I'm pleased you decided to do this .. go for it 😊

@@tomkatgastraining I am thinking about getting a heat pump for the water only because I think looking at the heat pump that also does the radiators and having to get bigger radiators because how the heat pump works , from what I have seen the air to air system I think would be better of course I could be wrong but I might be right, to be able to set the temperature in different parts of the house with air to air seems to be more practical and probably be more economical , I know nothing about either system, would be nice to get a complete unbiased information in regards to many things with all this new stuff coming on to the market , well at least new to us here in the UK , places like Finland have been using them for years , just heard about the new cylinder with heat pump on top that sits inside with a small hole in the wall for the heat pump on top , from what I’ve seen that looks a good system at least for me so I could get rid of all the radiators along with all the pipe work including the immersion tank and all the pipes in the loft so less worry of burst pipes.

The irony that it’s a unit to save the planet but you have as much polystyrene,straps ,plastic to kill the planet ,I found my install was a whole different way of installing.
