My grandson was born at 37 weeks and he was in the NICU for three weeks. I am not a medical professional but I think you need to reconsider your decision to try to start labor at 37 weeks. A boys lungs do not develop at the same rate as a girl. The dr told my daughter-in-law this. Good luck 🙏

Girl don’t do a csection unless you HAVE to. Trust me. I did epidural and had my baby vaginally. It’s a quick recovery and i had a second degree tear. It’s really not bad ❤️

I went through my second labor and delivery and the second time around was way easier less painful and way faster! Both were about 40 weeks both 9 pound no tearing for both!

Just fyi, 37 weeks is no longer considered full term. 39 weeks if full term now because it has been proven that babies still do a lot of developing in those last few weeks & there is still a high chance that they will have major breathing issues if they’re born before 39 weeks.

No no no term might be 37 weeks but you really need to go to 39 unless you go into labor naturally first. It’s what the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology recommends. That castor oil can really mess you up.

even 39 still comes with slight risks, 40 weeks is best for ensuring the babies lungs are as mature as they need to be

Good for you! You were a bad ass at 14 to birth all naturally, I'm giving birth in June at age 21 and honestly you boost my confidence to birth all naturally so much! There's alot of comments here, but remember no ones story of labor and birth will be your own! Best wishes!
