Yes birth is very dangerous for women. I don't think all men understand that in their heart. Women are given an intuition about pregnancy and we alone should get to decide if a pregnancy continues. We must trust women to make the decisions they've naturally made from the beginning of time. When that right is taken away it is disastrous for women and for society.

Just amazing, love sent to you all. I had two 'babies' many years ago. My eldest is now 42! I can say that no two births are 'text book' or the same. Every birth is unique - I was present at all the births of my amazing four grandchildren. Three went amazingly well. The birth of my first grandson was however traumatic, my darling eldest daughter experienced placenta previa, it was horrendous. Due to the blood loss after my Grandsons birth my daughter was in intensive care. My brand-new grandson was cared for by me and my amazing son-in-law, for his first two days. My daughter had spoken to me many times about her wanting a 'home' natural birth, and I thankfully changed her mind. She had attended all of her pre-natal checks and scans, and everything was 'fine'. I just thank the lord that she was in the hospital. Much love sent to you all.xxx

I'm watching this a year later. So happy your second delivery had a happy ending. I can't imagine your doctor asking you not to scream, haha. My first one was induced, and I felt like Regan off of the Exorcist with each contraction. Super intense and painful. When I was pregnant with mine, I asked him about episiotomy. He informed me that he would just let me tear. I practically clutched my pearls at the thought. But then he explained that healing an episiotomy is like healing a paper cut. It takes days for the cut to heal back together (like panes of glass) and it's painful. But a tear, because it's like a torn hang nail, is rigid and "knits" very quickly. My recovery was very quick.

The chair is called a birthing chair or stool and has a long traditional. The dr. who delivered my first daughter made it known he would not get down on the floor to deliver a mother on one of those so I went to a different hospital for my second (4450g), though she was so big I was on a standard delivery table. And the third was a water birth, also 4 kg. I am sorry you had such a traumatic time, I was lucky that mine were pretty quick, despite my babies being big. It‘s interesting that you were never offered a Caesarean at all. We women do tend to move past the pain of childbirth quite quickly, so it‘s good to hear you‘ve had a great recovery and are enjoying your beautiful Adeline! 🤗(mother of Aveline!)

I thought that was interesting too. Perhaps it's a regional thing that they just don't go for a C-section? I think that here in California she would've been given that option pretty quickly.

I’m sorry you went through such pain. But I am also surprised that they never recommended a c-section when having a big baby, my son was measuring over 10lbs so I was told because of how big he was I would either get induced at 39 weeks or a c section. I ended up with a c-section and I’m glad I did as he was born 9.4lbs I can’t imagine how much pain you must have been in. I hope you are well and healing 🙏

I definitely recommend epidural and inducing. I also had the back contractions with baby face up instead of down, those are so painful. My 2nd Childs birth was similar to yours- overdue, weeks of false labor, very painful birth. But thankfully I only have 5 hour labors. After 2nd child birth I decided to be induced and get the epidural first. This birth was amazing! I never had any pain and napped until pushing time, I highly recommend this method if it isn't a 1st birth. Also bouncing on the fitness ball and doing hip circles helps the baby get into position and opens all the ligament so the birth is easier. Use the ball many times a day during the pregnancy especially during the last month.

@@mygirldarby hugs. My legs didn't feel like that but I guess everyone is different. You can ask the nurse to set the medicine to the lowest dose so you can still feel and have them turn it off so you can feel the baby being born when it's time to push. I’ve had 6 births (& 3 miscarriages). 3 no intervention at all and 3 induced. All contractions in my back, none across my abdomen that I could feel. Waters had to be broken fro all 6. Pregnancies were dreadful, severe nausea and I lost weight so all babies small. The smallest 5lbs and the largest 6.8lbs. My labour’s complete opposite to you; about 2pm is by the time I gave in and thought that the back pain and urge to push was labour and not constipation!!!😂😂😂. Adelina is beautiful! Congratulations and I hope you are recovering well despite a difficult birth. Labor and delivery is such a crazy experience. You have to make so many tough choices along the way, when to trust your own body or when to listen to the doctors. I’ve been induced twice, the first time I wished I had waited and the second time it worked really well and quickly but only because I had already progressed quite a bit on my own. But I try not to dwell on the details because it’s really hard to make the “perfect” decision when so much is going on and the goal is to keep everyone safe and healthy but that doesn’t necessarily result in the most easy or smooth experience.

I know this is a year old video but well done! It's amazing you were able to get through all that and naturally give birth to such a big baby with no tear! I've never heard of an induction pill, in Australia they use a drip which helps control it a bit better. Also, with labour/birth in water, as soon as you have any kind of intervention that's an automatic disqualification because it's simply not safe. Thank you for sharing your experience, it is so important!

You did great! I had similar experiences giving birth. Both of mine were posterior presentations (they were head down but my babies were rotated 180 degrees) Your horrible back pain sounds just like my experience. If you decide to go for a third in the future, you might try laboring on your hands and knees. I did this and it really helped take the pressure off of my back. My physician periodically made me lay on my back to check me for dilation and I was in agony every time. I ended up even delivering on hands and knees while leaning against a bean bag chair. No birth experience is perfect but as long it ends with a healthy mom and healthy baby the ending is always the perfect. Congratulations on a difficult job perfectly done. 💕🍾

You have such a beautiful family! Your little girls are precious and beautiful. I had a horrible labor with my first baby and ended up having a C-section, then had a scheduled C-section with my 2nd. The recovery time with my 2nd child was so much faster then my first.

Your story made me cry, it was so moving. You are so strong to go through that! And welcome to the world, Adeline!

That is one of the most touching, beautiful videos you have ever done. So true what you said about the pain being forgotten once you see your perfect little baby.

You poor thing! I wish you had been able to have pain relief. But, because you dealt with it completely naturally, should make you feel so proud. You are a champ! And her little face was so cute when she was next to you right after giving birth. Love it!

Ach, Victoria, I feel for you. The labor with my third baby was more painful with my other 5 children because of the position of her head. Labor is hard, yes, but the reward is sweet. I'm so glad for you and Tolya that God has blessed you with beautiful Adeline - and Agatha, too.

Oh my what a hard experience, listening to your story, my mind brought me back to labor pains almost 32 years ago. I was blessed to only have hard labor for 4 hours but it was all in my back too. I'm glad you're recovering nicely. Blessings to you and your family. 💕

Whew! Vika. I have a tipped uterus and I have heard about how it can cause back contractions. That is so much. You’re amazing. I’m relieved for you and she is beautiful and yes, big and healthy. Sending love from the states. 💖

Despite the difficulty of your birth experience, what seems amazing to me is that your body DID open to allow the passage of your very large baby without damage in tearing and that your recovery is fast! (Congratulations!) As I listened to you talk about not being able to get into the bed for the birth I felt that this was the wisdom of your body taking over so that you would be in a position that was more natural for you to deliver your daughter into this world. Although screaming may not have been comfortable for everyone present, do you think it may have been beneficial in releasing the pressure, tension, stress and pain of the experience?

Congratulations! 🥰 Wish you and your family all the best in the future. I find the names very interesting as Adelina means "noble" and Agatha means "good". 🙂 Sending love all the way from Romania. Be safe! Enjoy motherhood. 🥰

So glad to hear you made it through this ordeal and got a healthy baby girl out of it. It took forever with my first one, too, and I was barely dilating. I wound up with a C-section bc the umbilical cord was wrapped around my baby's neck. With my 2nd I knew it was automatically going to be another C-section, and I'm not going to lie, it was a relief.😚 Wishing you and your family all the best for the future. Enjoy your new baby!💕

What an horrendous experience. I've given birth twice and it wasn't nearly as bad as that. The chair you describe is indeed a birthing chair, I wanted that but things didn't go to plan and ended up just on the bed. I did have to be stitched up inside and out and had bad bruising. Always love hearing these experiences. Glad everything was well in the end. I was convinced you wouldn't go to your due date with the size Adeline was. Shows how much I know! xxx

I continue to be amazed by you!!! It was very obvious from your last video that your beautiful 2nd daughter was a big baby and my goodness you really went through it bringing her into the world!!!!! And men of course feel so helpless even tho they try their best. I think the whole 'labour' frightens them beyond imagining - with fear for both partner and baby. Thank God you were compensated with an easier recovery and that you had a nice day out with your mom and little family. I remain totally and absolutely in awe of your strength, attitude, and serenity. Are you EVER JUST TOTALLY FRAZZLED?? Can i buy some of your serenity 😇. Love from Ireland.

Adeline is such a pretty girl, and I think she will be nearly a twin for Agatha! I had four back labors myself and the babies were over 9 lbs. I can feel your pain…not a bit of fun! My husband rubbed my back for so long and so hard that my back was a massive bruise after each delivery. How can I describe back labor? It feels like the baby is trying to exit through your spine, ripping through every nerve along the way. Like a tooth being drilled without numbing, only on a much larger scale. However, now you are on the other side and have another gorgeous child to love. Congratulations, Vika! (Darn that Eve!)

Oh my goodness this sounds so intense! I've given birth myself 3 months ago and it was VERY painful and I even teared a bit, but I really feel lucky compared to your experiences... it's incredible what you endured, women are strong!
