You right about that there’s no easy way out! Both are a hard recovery! I had 2 c-sections and 1 vaginal birth. C-section wasn’t only hard physical but mentally as well. Thank you sharing your story! 🩵

You literally had me crying and laughing throughout this entire video 🥲🥲 I also gave birth at Lennox Hill and it was such a great experience! I love how you went into your delivery owning that your journey will be your own from the start. I honestly watched so many videos and made up this grand “plan” when in reality what’s going to happen will happen. I ended up having a very similar birth story to yours (cocktail of meds, unexpected c-section, etc.) I literally felt myself surrender to Gods hands when I was being wheeled into that operating room, and although I had to “mourn” my original plan for a minute, eventually I found peace in knowing my baby and I were safe earth side. The biggest takeaway from your story that every momma should know is that everything will happen the way it’s supposed to 🫶🏼 trust your body and have faith everything will work out. The same thing happened to me, my baby swallowed his poop and water and he was in the NICU for 4 days I didn’t get the postpartum experience. I had to go home for one day without him. I was so heartbroken and I couldn’t even sleep
