Omg congrats! New subscriber! I have an 8 month old baby, and I loved how honest you are about everything from your labor thru those first days/weeks with a baby! When I was still pregnant I watched so many KZbin videos and “they were so perfect” that I thought I would be ready and it will be easy! I also had PPD for the first 2 months because I have no family here in the country! I appreciate videos like yours! Things are great now and I tell you things get much easier when you get the hang of it!

She is beautiful! I am so happy for you both. Motherhood is amazing. I want to thank you for your transparency and honesty. The first week to the first month is extremely hard and it feels like you are the only person going through it. But when you hear other moms having the same experience, it honestly makes it easier to handle. I just went back to work after a 6 month maternity leave and I think this is harder than that first week! Lol but your baby girl is lovely, congrats!

Eating plenty of fresh fruit and veg, cat napping during the day and drinking plenty of water will really help u. So glad u are taking the right steps! And oh... she is an angel. For anyone watching this, please know that this is NOT most mothers accurate first months of being mom/dad. If you watch Jessi's insta stories, you would see she is out at parties, events, lunches every other day, and taking PERFECTLY styled instagram posts. Whilst this is awesome of her, she obviously has hired help (or lots of family) that she can do these things and have her baby girl be given the necessities. For any moms out there: know that this is NOT real life. If you''ve not washed your hair in 5 days, and not left the house or put on makeup in a month.... that is OKAY! Jessi is NOT the kind of instagram mom you need to 'aspire' to be. You are seeing a highly edited and selected version of her life. You do not see the nannys, cooks, makup artists etc. that go into this perfect mom illusion. NO moms should have to feel bad for doing the BEST thing for their baby!

Washing stud wow you’re being very mean and inconsiderate towards Jess, every journey is different and she’s telling her first 3 weeks journey not 5 days and Jess’s job is too be at those events and parties so there’s nothing wrong in doing her job. She literally had an appendectomy few weeks after giving birth and never said it was rosy, she repeatedly said it was hard.My mum had a smooth experience when she had my brother literally 3 weeks later it was like nothing happened. Different women have different journeys. There is no acceptable journey. Jess’s journey is as real as any other mum. Your not alone! I had a Homebirth and right after giving birth we rushed to the hospital because I had retained placenta. I gave birth to my baby girl and the doctor removed my placenta at the hospital without medication. It was rough! I pumped as much as I could , but I had to be in antibiotics again so my nails supply drained. I know the feeling of sadness and guilt when you can feed your baby. Right now my princess is formula feed. Best luck, Blessings!

Aww Jessi! We could've had birthday twins. My baby girl was due 12/19 and I was scheduled for an induction by 12/12. But preeclampsia happened so she was born 6 weeks early on 11/8. Stretch marks are a hereditary feature so if your mom had them then you can ladder up the lotion all you want and you’ll still get them. -not hate just want other moms out there to have a realistic expectation. I myself bought into it and the second I saw the first stretch mark cried my eyeballs outs because I worked so hard not to get them.

This is NOT true! You CAN prevent them. My mother got crazy stretch marks. I have 3 kids and have none. You just need to use the CORRECT products and NOT scratch your stomach.
