Freddie Mercury was not a bisexual. He is on record as identifying as gay. He had a failed try at a relationship with Mary Austin. He never dated a girl before her or after. For the last seven years of his life he lived with Jim Hutton who referred to him as his "husband." Jim was with him, changing his soiled underwear, when Freddie took his last breath. When Freddie was cremated, the wedding ring Jim had given him was still on his finger.

I've been bisexual since I was a teenager in the late fifties and early sixties. I accepted being bisexual easily once I was in my first year in college in 1963-64 and had both girlfriends and boyfriends. Once the mid-sixties arrived and the counterculture took off it was much easier being openly bi.

I knew that I was bisexual when I was about fifteen years of age. I kept it pretty well shrouded until around ten or so years ago, until a former girlfriend outed me and after that I went and came OUT rather than allow for myself to be blackmailed. All bisexual men and women should fully embrace this gift and be proud of your unique sexuality.

I did look into it but they said they would have to replace the internals and to me that would just mean I losing part of what makes it special it literally stopped ticking the day I got it and I look at it as a sign

The whole "live like a straight person" thing reminds me of when I was a kid in the 80s. Back then, it wasn't "You're really gay if you say you're bi". It was that people actually thought "Bisexual isn't real".

Courtney, if you come down to London for Summer in the City (or any other time to be honest) whether a panellist or star or other reason, I would show up to a meet abd greet. Or help organise one for you (I organise monthly bi social events in London with 50 folk showing up or so already, in a group of over 6000 online members). If its warm we could do it in a park (with backup in case the British weather hates us), or more limited numbers in a pub or other venue (which may need ticketing to cover costs). I think other KZbinrs havent had problems getting a reasonable size meet together when at your subscriber/viewer counts.
