For me Lady Maria is the best boss of Bloodborne, her attacks are sooo freaking cool, aesthetically amazing, is one of the few boss that has no camera problems because it's sets in a large space, you can see every moves she does sooo, you can actually study her and well lose the fight on purpose so you can fight her over and over again😁😁. And her design is sooo beautiful.

She kidnaps many Yharnamites for her experiments so she can perfect a method of restoring her Lady using her bone. Due to events that would require too many paragraphs of lore to explain, her failed attempts gradually wear down her scarce life essence. Eventually, in a fit of frenzy, she has an epiphany: Why not bring the bone to the Altar of Despair? TLDR: I agree with your idea, I have a ghost-like transbian character full of insight who's a gay disaster for Maria, and she would love to duel anyone who's interested. She's at BL200.

Fun fact: You can collect more centipede bros if you equip the impurity ruin from the league. Equip that and then fight bosses and do pvp/co-op to liberate centipede bros from their captors. You too can proudly own 99 vermin.

The thing with Ludwig is that his first phase is a bloodborne boss....but his 2nd phase is a dark souls boss. The whiplash from having to change styles after spending the entire game learning to fight aggressively and react with hair trigger sensitivity caused me so much grief trying to push through this boss.

Yeah, I remember having a ton of fun fighting her until I started parrying, though I think that's more of a Bloodborne problem in general. Parrying is way too safe since you can do it at a distance, as opposed to souls where you will take a guaranteed hit if you don't land it.
