One of my friends who streams was raising money last November for charity, and I made a deal with her that if I donated $35, she would play Bloodborne on-stream until she either beat it or hated it with every fiber of her being. Her only caveat was that she wanted me to coach her through it. Watching her struggle for a few hours just to find the first shortcut was rough, but eventually she began getting the hang of things. She got thru Cleric Beast and soldiered on, and when she finally got to Gehrman, she completely melted him to nothing on her first try. My only advice to her was to use the Music Box on his final form. She took care of the rest. It was remarkable watching her take to it so deeply. She normally only played JRPGs and a spattering of lighter action games, so seeing her get so enthralled in THIS was not only satisfying, but I felt proud of her for learning the ways of the Hunter. You are correct in that Bloodborne changes a person. I experienced it myself when I played it in 2018, and watched my friend go through it, as well. She now says it's her 2nd-fave of All-Time, easily. She even got the platinum, her first-ever. Congratulations on getting through the game. Welcome to the club, and thank you so much for sharing. The sweet blood. It sings to us all.

I am so glad to see I was wrong. In fact, I have a ton of respect for you for enduring through this. You died 523 times to a boss that some beat first try. I'm more impressed by your feat. You failed and got back up over 500 times and even broadcasted said failures for people to see online forever. Why? Because you knew as long as you didn't give up, you would eventually get that 1 success and it would be worth it. That's impressive tenacity. Which is much more impressive than the ability to press the L2 button with perfect timing consistently. Congrats, good hoonter.

Hello, thanks for those videos that express how fromsoftware games are art and how it can resonate throughout one's soul. Moreover, I'm sure tons of people already told you that, but you missed two (beautiful) zones in the part of the game you did + there is another boss in the dlc (only saw your yt clips, sry if you fought it on stream). And in addition, there is actually litterally another part of the game, with specific areas and specific bosses and everything in the chalice dungeons you barely started. Lots of people miss out that part of the game because it looks repetitve at first. It's actually pretty unique and amazing. At least that's what I think... And I might be wrong, but there are important game mechanics you might not have understood. The red bullets by pressing up on the d-pad is a crussial mechanic or doing a charged attack in enemy's back allowing to evicerate them for instance... Definitely worth a try to master in my opinion. Thanks again
