Don't get me wrong I love Billy strings and he's got the coolest name for musician of anyone but why is he being pushed forward over tray cuz he has tattoos and he smokes weed on every other video or did he sign the contract at the crossroads and and Trey didn't kind of one of those things that make you wonder

I don't think it's due to the the amount of weed smoked, number of tattoos, I believe that it's more likely due to the management company and agent that Billy is signed with, in today's music landscape record companies don't have the power over careers they once did and no longer spend as much to promote the artist as they used to. With today's digital marketplace artists rely on live performances for the bulk of their income and have to be self reliant on promoting their music, I think it comes down to the fact that Billy may be spending more money than Trey for a larger management team with more publicists/agents that are better at keeping Billy's name out front.
