Just got a crazy nice 2007 335i E93 - just hydraulic roof mechanisms under the rear lid! All other BMWs I’ve had at least had a place for the spare. I’d not replace with run-flats since they’re expensive and don’t really work - and get a Mickey Mouse kit to put in the trunk. Guess I’m going to have to sacrifice the trunk. Maybe just put it in for long trips or late night trips….

My Ford Escape XLT has a full size spare tire! That nowadays is a better luxury! Screw BMW, Mercedes Benz, Audi, etc. I’m sticking with my Fords!

I have a 2019 BMW X1 with run flat tires and I was surprised it also came with a spare. I’m thinking of removing it and use the space however…..it’s my first time with run flats but isn’t it like having a spare?

It’s not recommended to drive on much when flat it can damage your wheels but it’s enough to get you to a tire place or home I’ve heard many people say they drove on there’s flat for a day you two and need new wheels
