I have had Alopecia as a young girl, and still going, the same type as Britt had! (As mine personally means I’ve lost all of my body hair) I’m extremely happy to see something like this because it really is exhausting. It feels like it’s not good enough to get upset over because it’s just hair but then you think about everyone else and you’re out of place. This story really makes my day. 🥺 I felt like msa made this especially for me. I was feeling really down as I have alopecia totalis just like Britanny. Although I'm not made fun of by my classmates, I always feel highly conscious of my wig. You can tell it's a wig because some of my not-so-close friends I do not intend to tell, found out right away. Plus, I don't even have any eyebrows. However, after seeing this video, I learn to be more confident and strong and I also learn to be grateful to my mom who's always been there for me at my lowest. ngl, brittany's mother was kinda pushy for forcing that party when she clearly said all she wanted was to celebrate with her family. also didn't like how her mom insisted to entertain mandy when she and her friends showed up at their house despite brittany saying THEY weren't nice to her, justifying their behavior because they're teenagers and teens fight all the time, suggesting that brittany make up with them.
