Nice little SIB - are you getting a trailer to go with it? That was what really spoiled SIB’s for me - the idea that you can pack it into the car is lovely but the reality is grim, messy and time consuming. I’d thoroughly recommend a trailer if you don’t already have one. Interesting to see the extra bit of material in the bottom of the boat, levelling off the “V” in the aerodeck. The last Bombard I was in didn’t have that, meaning that the inevitable water in the bottom of the boat meant you and your gear were almost always standing in water - good upgrade over the older red models! Great looking boat, hope you have loads of fun in it! 👍🏼

@@markweatherall7437 hi Mark, the main cons with a trailer are that you need a tow hitch fitted to your car and you need somewhere to store the trailer. Pro’s are that you can keep your boat and gear all ready to go and not have to construct your boat from scratch every time you want to go out on the water. While the idea of a boat you can roll up and put in the back of a car is a great concept, the reality of rolling up a wet, sandy boat and putting in the boot, along with the engine, fuel tank and all your gear is not fun all all. It’s heavy, smelly and time consuming. When we go to the sea, we’re there to have fun, not spend 45 mins at the beginning and end of the day assembling then disassembling a boat - it’s at least an hour and a half wasted. It gets annoying incredibly quickly. Personally, I wouldn’t even consider getting a boat without a trailer. Hope that helps.

Did you modify the transom or was it already modified previously? Do you get any splash coming over the transom?

Won’t be a lot top end 3-4knotts if your lucky but will be better on acceleration and fuel
