About Melodies of India Book
This 270-page book is a blend of photos and text, capturing a journey of heart and soul.
The adventure begins when the author sets out from home, chasing a long-held dream to travel alongside the Ganga. Starting at Gaumukh, the river's source, he encounters people whose incredible faith in the river makes it much more than just flowing water-it is their mother and their home. However, this deep reverence seems to fade as he descends from the mountains into the bustling city of Kanpur, where Ganga is treated merely as another river, more polluted than any place he has seen.
Faith resurfaces in the cities of Prayagraj, Banaras, and Gangasagar, but here, a strange mob mentality prevails. People pray and pollute simultaneously, their needs overshadowing their reverence. In their rush to worship, they shove, push, and disregard the feelings of those around them, caring little for the other devotees praying to the same river at the same time.
As he continues his journey through small villages, the author discovers that where the masses do not dominate, humanity prevails. Walking on foot, he encounters thugs, mafia, monks, and common villagers-all of whom appear the same to him. They invite him for lunch, offer him money for his journey, and show him kindness. There is no difference; every person is a son of the river, and everyone wants to help. Every man is a good man.

I was suffering from severe depression due to some problems in life. But your videos motivate me to do traveling.
