i think the reason why shadowflame does more damage in the target dummy is because it was perma 0 hp. shadowflame gives more magic pen based on hp, so the whole time it was just shadowflame having max pen perma

Horizon Focus DOES deal more damage, but you have to proc it before you start combo (Most of the time I start the combo by throwing Q first, so all of my other spells are empowered by HF). Also as people mentioned Shadowflame was getting max value, because Dummies were permanently low hp.

horizon gives ability haste and provides vision which is actually pretty nice to be able to ult/e people even if they break vision around a corner or in a bush or something. Also im pretty sure the damage is skewed because shadowflame works with current hp with maximum effectiveness being at 1000hp which the dummy was at, which is not super realistic in actual games. Morello also has similar damage to horizon, in cases where you would need antihealing your build would be liandrys, rylais, sorcs, void, banshees/zhonyas, morello last since you can just buy and sit on oblivion orb whenever.

@@abcdefghilihgfedcba Brand is probably best Morello user in the entire game, because he spreads it insanely easy. Also it gives HP, AP and pen, which Brand LOVES, not to mention it's 600g cheaper (Morello is actually insanely underrated).

I've been playing LoL since 2011. Mained Brand & Urgot (before remake). During those first years I got flamed and Q dodged when I picked Brand jungle of the games. Now it's one of the most picked junglers... I was ahead of the meta I guess, ppl just didn't see it back then..

shadowflame vs horizon focus depends on enemy mres. it's like a hyperbole. around 40-50 shadowflame is better (since sorc shoes + shadow gives you near true dmg) later on horizon is mostly better but there is one mr situation where shadowflame gets better again then horizon again is better idk the math but you can try too. most of the time unless enemy has some mr or higher level and you are not fed horizon is better, but shadoflame is better if enemy has no mr and you are snowballing

The dummy starts with 1k health which means the shadowflame instantly gives you the max magic pen so you cant compare the damage with horizon as in the game every champ would start off with at least 2k health at that point and horizon would probably deal more damage

With Shadowflame item you demolish the carries without even using your ulti.Combo and Dark Harvest are enough to execute them.Always go Shadowflame boys imo.

Great guide, i normally don't really play jungle but Waldbrand is just too much fun! Does anyone know, why does he play cosmic insight? I never really needed to smite after my first clear and had 2 charges up anyways. And why does he use second smite for red, it's worse for invade/crab, no? For gaining a little bit more tempo - like 5 seconds?

Shadowflame has magic pen making it a dual purpose item, i usually go it 3rd but i havent tried focus on brand yet so i cant really speak for the strength of it

I got on a fresh acc after not playing for years, and in low Emerald I get invaded every single game, Brand is basically unpickable, either my other side of the jg gets completely cleared, or we get invaded lvl 1 and forced off, since Brand is useless lvl 1 and gets destroyed by pretty much anyone on 1v1 invade

I've been playing it up to D1. I used ghost mostly until I realised that often lategame I would need a way to quickly get onto their team, especially key targets, or over walls. I would strongly recommend Flash for lategame teamfights and objectives, but ghost is better early game because it lasts so long and the CD is so short. Also lategame everybody has their spells and lots of MS, so the ghost difference isn't that much, vs flash where you can insta engage with all your spells and then zhonyas.

@@jonnybgeodude4930 No, Brand is good late. Pick a champ for the entire game. Pick flash as it's great for all of the game. Ghost is just a bit stronger early, flash stronger late.
