My issue is with the right side monitor: the USB cable doesn’t give me space to install it, because the cable is in the way and I can’t just clamp it on the Mountie. How did you solve this? I'm seeing a lot of people asking why Ross doesn't use a tower instead of Laptop. I must Input that a huge benefit of having a laptop over a desktop besides the ability to take it anywhere is the fact that the laptop will never shut off or skip a beat if the power goes out! great video, thanks for the information. I am a full time trader and have a bunch of questions. 1) What's your take on 1 bigger screen vs 3-4 smaller ones if price wasn't an issue. My setup is 1x 38"ultra wide and 1x 32"1440p on top of it. Iam looking to switch the 38"with a LG c1 48" as that will give me mor verrtical space for main monitor and then have 32" on the side. Pls let me know. one suggestion for u is instead of using all thoese dongles u could get a thunderbolt 4 laptop (I have the HPspectre) and get the thunderbolt 4 hub with gives a ton of ports for almost everything. You seem like a very sincere, natively smart, DIY kind of guy who found a niche and honed it with hard work. Very admirable, and very comforting that you've shared live trading and certified statements of your success. That said, I have a few questions still. (1) Ive always thought great traders would just keep their secret sauce and become billionaires and we'd never know about them. Also, the greatest trader in the world, Jim Simons of Renaissance Capital made 'only' 44%/year for 20 years so far, which makes me wonder how even a great day trader, like you, without a roomful of astrophysicists and the best info on Earth, can leave Simons in the dust. That's always been a quandary for me. Maybe your mean regression is yet come. (Im rooting for you, but I have to ask). Based on your numbers, you will make Simons, Tepper, Buffett and Tudor-Jones, Cohn, Robertson, Soros look like rank amateurs. How can you help me reconcile that? (2) I already have a large account (not from trading) and some trading experience. Is your program especially geared to beginners with small accounts, or would it equally apply to intermediates with large accounts (not from trading). (3) I have TOS and TrendSpider and was just starting to learn them, but when I watch your trading and even SMB videos, I think much of the secret sauce is the ability to get EXECUTION on those 'dips' with the ability to offer out as soon as they snap back up. I dont know if TOS can give me that. Do I need Lightspeed or IB to accomplish those trades? Also, it seems like a big part of success is the right 'hotkeys.' I couldn't do what you do without those keys. (4) Does my payment to Warrior include 'forever' access to your scanner algorithms? Or is that only available so long as I re-up each year? Id really like to learn to fish instead of being fed a fish, if you know what I mean. (5) Finally, I read your talk on internet connection and my download is in the 80s and upload only in the 30's here in NJ. Im guessing I need to upgrade? And also, WIFI is probably not a good idea, I gather? Better to use ethernet straight in? Thanks so much.

Hey Ross love the setup. I love your last comment on how you would setup your trade station with the laptop and three monitors across the top thats how i have mine setup. I have a nice MSI gaming laptop and i can plug in all three monitors to my laptop as well. Quick question i was thinking of getting a docking station so i could plug in one cable to my c port and then plugin my three monitors to that and any USB devices. I could move that to the back of my desk to keep it clean and its one cable to unplug and take my laptop with me. They even have ports for Ethernet. I was just wonder if you dont use one for a reason??? Thanks for all your help.

INSANE!!!! I absolutely LOVED this!!! I have been doing a lot of research on a good travel backpack and would love to see which one you use. So far, i found the ASUS Republic of Gamers Nomad Backpack for 17-inches and eBags Professional Slim Laptop Backpack. Also, what about rotating the laptops. Putting you streaming laptop on the left instead of in the middle?? That would allow you to have all your trading monitors together on the right ( in the middle ), and the streaming laptop together with your streaming monitors right about it. I must say though, I can't wait to get even half as close to this setup and be making good money day trading. Great work and great vibes always. Thank you!!

I use similar equipment setup for my trading at home as well. 3 screens - 2x 32" side by side monitors, powered by just my 13" travel laptop on a docking station. Broker on 1 monitor, web screens for chat rooms, etc on the 2nd monitor, and my laptop screen has my ambient music playing. All on a motorized standing desk, and ambient RGB led lighting under my desk for a nice glow on my wall. Debating if to switch to a desktop with 4x 32" monitors...

The trading world (in general) is built for Windows. We have plenty of Mac users in our community, but it does require a few extra steps to get your trading platform set up. Sterling is a popular trading platform and it's the software that powers our Warring Trading Simulator. Sterling and the simulator can run on a Mac, though this does require the installation of a Windows operating system on that computer. Here is a full list of solutions for Mac users so you can get a sense of what would be required: support.warriortrading.com/support/solutions/articles/19000093686-how-to-run-the-simulator-on-a-mac We would recommend to use the Bootcamp route for best results if your only current option is a Mac computer. If you do have an updated Windows computer available, we would recommend it as a more reliable option.

Ross, for faster internet when using your phone, try conducting a speedtest comparison between using your phones wifi hotspot, or your phones USB Tethering capability. I found that for me, wifi-hotspot gives me maybe 30 MB down with 2 MB up, but if I use USB tethering my laptop gets 130 MB down with 12 MB up.

Very cool. I use a 4k projector to get a 60 inch screen in the center. Four 20 inch double stacked monitors on the left and 4 on the right with broker windows on each one. Scanner monitor above the main screen. I have hotkeys set up to instantly display any of the 8 broker windows on to the main screen for quick trading. I like the idea of yours being portable. Maybe I'll work that in some how. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting set up. I don’t think I’ve ever seen people control their monitors with laptops for trading. My setup is similar, only I have all my 4 screens hooked up to my rig, with two high end graphics cards. Works pretty well for me. The only upgrade I’m thinking about is getting a more high end cpu. The rig works for both trading and gaming. 😁 I really like your traveling station. I might bite off of you with that. buy the two usb monitors, and hook it up to my surface laptop.

Hey Anthony, I'm not 100% sure, but I hope not. In order to be a successful trader you need to have your tools available to you at all times (broker, scanners, charts etc) and that requires a computer and at least one extra monitor, preferably two.
