My Breast Reduction : 1 Year Post-Op

I am 4 months post-op. Best thing I ever did for myself! Please ladies don't be a dummy and wait till you're 50 like I did. My back was nearly destroyed from years and years of carrying those monsters around. My insurance covered it, we paid about $1300 out of pocket. And I actually have MORE nipple sensitivity than before. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new boobs and can't believe how great they look!

i'm a 42/44ddd right now and ill be getting a breast reduction soon, and im excited and nervouse at the same time about it, i'm gonna go for the B/C cup range. its also hard to work out as well with big boobs, and the iuess they cause.

Hi! I really didn't have to go through too much to get approved. I'm 5'0 and last I measured I was an H cup. To get covered through insurance,you need to know who you have insurance with and what doctors accept your insurance. With my particular doctor I didn't have to lose weight and I didn't have to have a primary care physician either. At my consultaion I made sure to let him know that I was in a lot of physical pain and I needed to take breaks often when it came to doing everyday chores. I can't stress enough about how much you need to let your doc know about your neck,shoulders,and back. Also,what I think sealed the deal for me was the discoloration under my breast which was detected after lifting them up. What I also need everyone to know that all insurance is different and some people may have to pay different amounts. My surgery ended up being almost 15,000 and I only had to come up with. $2,000 out of pocket,which is great in my opinion. If money is a problem ask the hospital if they can take payments. I would also set aside some money to cover any bills while you are out of work. If you have anymore questions I don't mind answering.

Vitamin E oil i have used it and it works great it makes the skin fill smooth and reduces the scaring

I just had a breast reduction six days ago. The pain has been pretty bad and I was allergic to the pain killers that they first prescribed to me, that was scary. I have new meds now though. I am very pale so maybe that is why my bruising looks so awful but it looks like I was ran over by a truck. All in all I still think that it was a good choice. I am 5'1 and had 34 DDs and scoliosis so something had to be done

I just had a breast reduction on May 29th. I wanted to be a D cup from a DD. I am now a C after surgery. Will they eventually be a D cup? I don't want to buy a lot of C cup bras and then have them not fit in a few months. I don't mine being a C cup but now have to work on losing some weight in my stomach so I look more proportionate. Hi I have been thinking about a breast reduction for as long as I can remember. I come from a family that have big breast and I always had breast. As a baby I had them, in elementary school I had them in fact the only girl with breast I'm talking actual bra not training bra. In the fifth grade I was a double d and I'm just graduating high school and wearing a size jj with a bad back horrible skin on my shoulders and scars on my back due to my bras. Do you think I should get a reduction.
