Sadly same. One guy friend and I became close cause people had made a roomer that we liked each other. We laughed about it, but became close friends. He moved and I never kept up with him, but maybe twice as he went to Korea. I think late elementary or junior high he came back just for navisit. But I found out later from a friend he never intended to see me, cause he thought I liked him (it came from more then one trust worthy sorce. We shared several friends, some of his prior guy friends were good friends with me as well as other girls). I hadn't even talked to him in like two or three years, I think we emailed once or teice but we moved on from talking and moved apart. I face palmed so hard hearing this and admit to feeling angry that the very thing that brought us together also tore us apart a stupid rumor. I think one of his guy friends thought I was into himnor he cpjust worried since we were almost teens when he came back for a few weeks. After his family talked just told him it wad good to see him again and probably a few other things. Smiled and was kind. But walked away and didn't think of it much again after that. I have thoughtnof him sparingly through the years. But haven't even really spent a thought on him. I guess it hurt me, cause he used to be one of the kindest guys I knew and was always so cool. I liked him and his younger sister as friends. I felt bad I didn't keep as much in touch, but internet wasn't my forte back then. I was just a kid and barely knew how to play games online with my bad internet. I heard updates I think throughout Junior high, probably was the only time I spent thoughts on him. But after junior high since I went to a different high school then most in our area I guess I just forgot about him. The way I was hurt I just decided he wasn't worth my efforts to revive the friendship we lost thanks to I think my lack of ubderstnadingnhwo to do things online in early childhood. He lost a good fun friend who could have been a good pen pal. But he didn't want that. It just amazes me that your comment reminded me of him. I don't think in the last ten years I've thought of him, or if I have I even remembered this as well or thought on it. I just shrugged if of after the fact and that was it. I fully intended to discuss my bff when she moved away after 2nd grade. How I amnaged to keep in contact, and even see her at her new home and met her new bff who she nwo ahd more in contact with. But then we all changed emails and lost contact by 5th or 6th grade. I didnt ttalk with her again except a random letter I think she sent me (I guess she looked up our new address onlien since we had since moved and wouldn't have known this literally around the same time we lost touch). But we reslly didn't talk again till later after graduating when we were both in college and found each other online. We Dont really talk, but we'll comment on each others posts, and keep up with each others lives. In a way showing our support from a friendship when we once were super close. Still having I guess a longing for the friendship we once hhad and could ahve remained if she didn't move. Well never know. But as I was about to right I recalled C, although the facts are more vague like when his family elft, when he temporarily came back for a visit, etc. I guess because his vhoice hurt me I choose never to dwell on the past we had and he became only a little memory I barely reflect on. I feel bad admiting it, but I'm the girl who id scorned will forgive, but won't give a tiem a day. I don't play games even as a kid. He didn't want to talk or hng with me, then I wouldn't put in effort to do the same with him. I doubt he even remembers me considering everytbing. I habe alot of friends then and nwo far better who elft far better impressions, friends I tpfought with, friends we took a break from each other from but came back to be better and friends then ever before. He never tried, so I didn't try back. He made his choise and so did I. I admit my lack of keeping up could have been a part of it. Even if I was a kid and Im now 29, all these old feelings oof anger towards the event returned. I just can't belueb how it all came back to me. I just know for timeframe that I can sah for certainty that it al, occured prior to me moving whichw as prior to junior high. So I know I was still a kid or early pre teen at the tiem. Sometiems things happen. Long spdistance relationships of any kind can be hard to keep up. My own mother struggled for years to keep good relationship at the distance with her sister. But in older age they patched up alot ofir errors and flaws. Mh point she probably hasn't forgotten you. I have two examples where I know in both to an extant I didn't forget the frje ds I made really young. In one case we still reach out on occassion. Another I didn't explain we'd still meet to hang out, up till when we both graduated. We haven't talked in years, but I thinknI heard shes married with kids, while the later one with a gypuy frjend just fell apart all thanks to rumors that held no merrit making him worry when we didn't care about them as little kids. But a s preteens he lefpt that worry effect the attempt we had to hang out again. I'm sure even then he may still remember me. But I'll never knwo. In that situation since our last meet I decided not to waist my time on someone who rather believe in rumors and lies instead of what his once friendnhas to say on the matter. (Im sure said rumors were by another girl I always knew had a crush on him and once tried to get me tonstop hanging out with him when our friendahip grew as kids. I always was certain she was part of it also being his friend. Oddly enough after said fact we became friends till I moved funny how thinfs work).😂🤣 but point is, she made an impression on you, I'm sure you did for her to. You never forget (well except if certain situations occure) thise once cared for. If younleave a impression especially one of friendship on someoen, you never fully forget them.
