The story is well made, and Keiichi technically did do something crazy. He is able to make her extremely happy and stole her heart. His brother tried to save face, but his own action. Keiichi also probably became known as the hidden gem to both mother and in-laws after that incident, where Yuichi taken the fall that he rightfully deserves.

So, he told the police where he is and follows him, Yuichi was now caught red handed by the cops. The boss of his workplace yell at Yuichi for not telling his true status: Boss: YOU HUGE LIAR!! WHY ARE YOU HIDING YOUR STATUS?! Yuichi: I-I don't want you to know my status, and i have to pay all the damages! Worker 1: Well, if you didn't commit your crimes in your previous company, none of this will happen! Worker 2: We already knew that there is a wanted post about you on social media. And we didn't tell boss about this, but we already know this! Yuichi: Well, i'm truly sorry! Can i still work here? Worker 3: Are you an idiot? There's no way we want you work here again. Yuichi: B-But- Boss: We don't want to see your face, forever! YOU'RE FIRED!! Yuichi ended up fired from his part-time job, he was taken to the police station, and facing the judge in court, he was sentenced 20 years in prison. At the jail, he was beaten up by his inmates, forced to do anything for them, and also work at mines with the police strictly watching him. Yuichi: Why did i embezzle the money?! I was so stupid about this! If i didn't do this, Mom, Keiichi, Yui, and the others won't cut ties and disowned me!! Officer Takeshi: DON'T COMPLAIN AFTER YOU COMMITTING YOUR CRIMES!! GET BACK TO WORK!! Yuichi: AAAAAAHH!!! His prison live was like hell, the company that Yuichi used to work sues him for embezzlement. Since he was fired from his part-time job, his crimes was exposed worldwide, Yuichi was hated by everyone, not just in Japan but the whole country hates him. After 20 years in prison, he was released and live on the street where everyone despise him and beating him up like a crap. Yuichi has been suffered both physically and mentally, and ended up suicide.
