my mom has one of those greenhouses,, it kept blowing over in strong winds so i filled water bottles and tied them to the inside corners....worked a treat..

With the Philippines being in the tropics, I'm not sure how useful a greenhouse would be there. They are used to maintain temperatures above freezing in areas were the temperatures get to freezing and below. They really shine in areas were it snows. Where I live a greenhouse is of limited use. Summers here are brutal and last for six months. No need for a greenhouse then. During our two month winter a greenhouse or even better it's smaller cousin the hothouse can be used to protect frost sentive plants at night. Our nights from late December to early February can get down to freezing.
