My Brother's Birthday Party - Special GIFT{Home Made Cornbread Dressing} Inside Our FAMILY Walls

How about posting the recipe for your momma's corn bread casserole. My mom died 11 years ago and she took her recipe with her. Looking for a great recipe from a great mother.

There is no set recipe, but I’ll do my best. Boil down a few chicken legs. Pull the meat and add it to the broth. Make some corn bread. Add a couple cups of celery, onions and boiled egg to the broth. Next, add corn bread till it’s a nice thick consistency. Take a casserole pan and melt a quarter stick of butter 🧈 n it. Then scoop the ingredients you mixed together into the casserole pan and place (uncovered) in the oven at 350f. Let bake for 30min-1hour depending on how moist your mixture was to start off with. It shouldn’t be totally dried out after baking... it should have a very moist feel to it. That’s my best advise! Add plenty of boiled egg and chicken meat!

GOD BLESS all of the mothers and grandmothers that make the cornbread dressing. I have a cast iron skillet that was my great grandmother’s and it’s only been used for cooking cornbread for the last 3 generations. My folks had their 50th anniversary last year. If you like saltwater fishing you're 20 minutes away from Bayport. If you like freshwater fishing it's minutes away. I live on the lakes which is part off the Tsala Apopka Chain of Lakes (which is approximately 22,000 acres and includes 15 connecting lakes). I’m in a nursing home and their food is freaking horrible. I’ve never heard of cornbread dressing until I just seen this. Today at lunch they had dressing that was breaking apart like cornbread.
