I just jetted straight away to this vid, as the follow up to your surgery vlog. Again, you have really educated me and my expectations are realistic. First, you look amazing❣️🙌🏽🙌🏽 I live in Southern California, in the US. You would faint dead away if you knew what I am spending on my surgeries. For me, it is priceless. I had breast augmentation about 23 years ago, and I am STILL thrilled about it every day. I only wish that I was able to have gotten it done earlier in my life. For the few people that I am sharing this with, I preferace my reveal with, ‘Do not tell me what I do or do not need.’ I am not embarrassed about it. I just feel that I do not need negativity, as I am a grown woman. As a matter of fact, I will be staying at a recovery center for the first night, and then will be alone for the duration of my healing, after my next day follow up visit. I have secured my neighbor to stop by and pick up my trash and start my car, for the first few days. I cannot imagine that I will feel like doing much until day 3, but more like day 4. I do not anticipate having a ‘regret’ day. As far as needing it done again, as a senior citizen, I say possibly. Gravity has a way of wreaking havoc in the aging process. However, you made a good point. You may not ever need it again, since you are fortunate to address it at a young age. I just wanted to thank you again. 💛💛💛

Me too!!! Never loved my droopy eye lids. Wasn’t trying to look younger, just wanted my eyes to be brighter and fresher. Brow lift on right side at the same time. And the brow lift fell very quickly, though my doctor says he will fix it and that it’s not a difficult fix. Btw, I love my procedure and it and super happy with it. Especially if he can fix the droopy brow.

Hi, thanks for sharing everything :) apologies if you have answered these questions elsewhere. Firstly, how soon after your surgery did you start to apply makeup to your eyelids and forehead? How did you go about removing the makeup at the end of the day? And how did you manage to wash your hair the first few times after surgery? I am fairly certain I'm going to have both brow and eyelid surgery and I'm just anxious about how I'll get back to my normal makeup (especially removing mascara at the end of the day)/hair washing routines during the healing process. Hey! No worries, happy to answer all of that! I think about 10 I finally applied mascara and a tint bit of eye pencil. For the forehead you can wear almost right away but it’s not comfortable as it’s super sensitive, so I’d advise not to use makeup for at least 2 weeks. I removed everything as previously just a lot more gently as to minimize any potential discomfort. ☺️ With regards to washing the hair, that was a bit of a challenge but you can do it 3-4 days after the surgery. I know people who got help from someone in their family, I managed by myself. Let me know if you are curious about anything else! ☺️

I had a operation due to having a fractured scull quite a few years ago Unfortunately I am now scared for life but it’s not on face but on my head like a head band where the Incision was made. I could of had to sorted but I had such a bad experience going through this experience I didn’t want to go back to get this rectified. So you brave to go through this. And I agree with anyone wanted to make changes cosmetically, if it makes you feel good about yourself why not right?

Hi Maryse! I really don’t think there was an anchor used? I am not sure but I was only told about how they lift the muscle if I remember correctly so there is definitely nothing under my skin. Your best bet would be to shoot my clinic an email and inquire all those things if you are interested! 🙏🏼

@imbrigita Thank you. I wanted to ask for your input as i am deciding to have the same two procedures in Turkey. I've researched thoroughly in uk and here, the drs talk about this . They use dissolvable stitches for some types of this procedure and use staples on the outer skin as it helps prevent this issue. You may find your hair will grow back a bit. It could be shock loss due to the disruptive surgery. You can always ask your GP about using minoxidil 5% to the areas to help your hair grow back in so it doesn't stay lost in those areas. Just a tip. The surgeon consultation advise in one Turkey clinic, was insisting I have cuts inside my temple area hairline even though I said I didn't want this type of surgery as there are other options, so I'm looking for a better clinic where an experienced surgeon knows and offers alternatives. This is important. He just pushed this issue aside and said I wouldn't loose hair or get alopicia in those areas, but that's not true.... it's common. Hope this helps others also thinking of a brow lift.

@@ALISBY5 the combination surgery of Eyebrow lift + upper eyelid lift is around €2650-2900, so definitely not double, just increased by less than 1000, which I think seems reasonable. My surgery was 3 years ago now so it’s normal for prices to change.

Unfortunately, there are small parts where the incision "went into" my hair and in those small areas the hair did not grow back. I am considering to get microblading in those areas for when I wear my hair up but as an alternative it is easy coverable with eyeshadow too. If you want no scars to be noticeable I guess endoscopic brow lift is a better option (though I heard with the option I went with the results are longer lasting). I'll be honest, one of my friends pointed out my scar and ever since it started bothering me so now I am in a place where I'm hesitating if I made the right decision but it is what it is and I cannot do anything about it at this point. So it's very imporant to be sure of your decision.

You know, ironically I did try to model for a couple of years now (freelancing) and I was unsuccessful - I barely got bookings because I am considered a plus size. Living in the Middle East, European features don’t help too - they prefer standard size models with brown hairs and eyes. However, I still enjoy doing a photoshoot when I get a booking - it’s fun to be someone else for the day. I would love to try acting too but not really sure how to get into that industry.

The reason you heal fast is because you are young. Every year after the age of 25 we loose 10% of our collagen. Thus the aging and slower healing

That could be the case. I just know some people my age who when they get pimples take forever to heal and for me that was never the case but I guess they could have different reasons. Anyways, thank you for the information. 🙏🏼

@@imbrigita pimple comes from the sebaceous glands (Your hair follicle) Where oil is produced called ( sebum ) when that oil mixes with your dead skin layer it produces a pimple ( mini infection). That’s why it’s good to exfoliate skin with salicylic acid, it controls oil and removes dead skin cells. That being said a pimple is quite different than an inflicted incision. Also here’s some great news. I’m going to assume you are European. I am myself. Out of all skin in the world, blue eyed blonde hair ( specifically European not American ) individuals skin heals the best. No overlapping scar tissue or hyperpigmentation. Anyway. Thank you for the video. I just had my brow lift the other day. Sitting swollen typing. Lol

in all honesty I find the surgeons excuse a tiny bit lame. I mean, he was busy with ur eyelids anyway, he should have taken the extra millimeter from your 'smallest eye too... that he comes up with: Yeah but your eye is a tiny bit smaller and we were not looking for symmetrie... Come on...its not that he changes your entire face with taking away 1 millimeter...so annoying to me, but having said this: you look really good. If you didn't tell about ur 'little eye' I would never have noticed. As far as I can see ur symmetrical......

Hey! Thank you for your comment. Please don’t get frustrated, there is a reason for everything. And I was told by the surgeon that they didn’t want to go overboard and remove too much skin because the eyes may not close properly, and that is true and very serious. I have heard of stories when this happens so I think it is better to do a little bit less than too much to stay on the safe side. Hope that makes sense. ☺️🙏🏼
