The prestige and quality of MU slowly declined after the IMG era ended. R'Bonney was the only good thing that came out of the JKN era. All the transformational leader crap Kuhn Ann spews is only lip service. I miss beautiful women of substance and intelligence during the IMG era and yes, there still are many during JKN. Still, the way they select winners these days is very untrustworthy, especially the selection of judges.

Miss Dominican Republic was cut off based on two reason ..All these Queens have attitude. Two Mistake she make but the crown did not notice. At the introductory stage ,She introduced with "" HER NAME AND NATION " INSTEAD OF JUST THE NATION AS STIPULATED by the organization. I thought is was a plus but they marked her down as not keeping the rules.She also has the best swim suit fit garce and carriage but he make an unnoticeable mistake which the judge saw "SHE STOOD LONGER THAN NORMAL TIME BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY TO HER DISADVANTAGE LIFTED HER RIGHT FOOT FIRST INSTEAD LEFT .""

As an international figure I think yes it is important to have a command of English. It would obviously also be great if someone spoke more than just English though. This year lot of Weak Asian countries placed excluding India ,Philippines and Thailand the countries placed like China ,Cambodia Japan ,Vietnam Malaysia Russia and Macau what did the Judges in see them as Transformational Leadership and Rejected such strong candidates that were expecting a lot to place like Pakistan, Jamaica,Germany ,US virgin Island,Somalia,Bahamas Honduras and Uzbekistan. The Evaluation of top 30 was not Up to expectations.It was better in 2023 but at the End a New Country's Contestant was crowned after Nicaragua

Ann did not helped thailand. The year she took over 2022, a Thai candidate unplaced. Also Thailand have placed before way before Ann J took ownership. Top 5 - thailand 2016, 2017, 2019, They skipped top 5 and landed top 10 in 2020… In 2023 Thailand got strict with their candidates and began choosing the strongest that was Antonia, and this year 2024 Opal. So no, Ann J did not helped Thailand because if she did she would have crowned them beginning the year 2022 till now.

I never really expected Philippines in the top 12. To me she's beautiful and has that carriage of a beauty queen but not the physical feature of a Miss Universe queen. I'm not trying to bodyshame her but when I look at her I can't help but notice her narrow shoulders which to me, makes her look smallish and shorter as if her face is bigger than her body. If you take a look at most Miss Universe and other beauty pageant winners or top models their shoulders usually have that angular features that can carry any dress. See how she looked in the prelims. If any of the top fives wore that same dress, they wouldn't have looked that underwhelming. MUP chose her probably thinking having the first black pinoy would favour them in the competition. Does she have the carriage? Yes but she didn't really have the looks. IJS.

She performed way better during national that’s why she won, but was screwed up big time by the so called strategy from PH leadership team Hated the prelim, and also didn’t really enjoy her final evening gown

Before it was European dominated now latin America the top two We're not latin Americans One European and the other African So why are people mad !?
