Looks like that pocket on the bottom/back is lined like a lunch bag. A great place to keep snacks and protein drinks cold with an ice pack!

Great review! I currently run the CRBN Backpack as my every day pickleball bag, but it's packed to the brim and I'm finding myself wanting more space and organization for the amount of gear I like to carry (especially on days where I'm going to play for 3+ hours). I definitely have similar concerns as far as like how big the bag is and whether it'd be my every day pickleball backpack, but from what I've seen it may ultimately be worth the extra bulk given all the great pockets and accessories. Thanks again for the honest review!

1 nitpick is the top zippered pocket intended to store your glasses; it's barely big enough to fit my sport glasses case. Would have benefited from some neoprene or more flexible material inside to accomodate different sized cases. There's plenty of clearance below this pocket so doubling the volume of this pocket would have been ideal so you can fit additional items for a quick access pocket you'd have your glasses in.

Have you checked out their v2 backpack? Thoughts?

mine is coming next week. I hope it works for my stuff. I have a hole in my existing bag and hate how floppy it is so this looked interesting.

275 dollars for a bag is ridiculous.

adv hit a homer in the premium market. like the vast majority, im a rec player who was looking for a reasonably priced mid-tier option around $40-60. i think there is a real need for a quality bag at this price range. needs to fit 3 paddles, phone/keys, water bottles, balls and small towel. I stumbled on a bag in Target for $35 that checks all the boxes: Men's 18.5" Backpack with Buckles - Goodfellow. I like how the main compartment, under the bucked closure flap, is a wide drawstring opening, with a padded separator inside. I like how the front outer pockets protrude outside of the bag and there are two thick side pockets for water, not the cheap mesh that always rips. If i were designing a rec bag priced around $40-50 i would prioritize a waterproof bottom, phone stand/phone pocket, insulated water bottle/paddle compartment, 2-3 separate padded paddle sleaves and quality zippers.

OMG BFF! I have the same shoes. We are twinsies! I wear them because there aren’t a lot of options for a size 15 wide shoes. Is that your shoe size too?

Not 15 but I need WIDE and they have the only good options for us wide boys lol
