Why do you prefer the irod over the dobyns?? Looking to buy the same rod as yours. Thanks

The dobyns feels a bit spongey, the grips aren't as comfortable, and it's also stiffer then the irod. I fish a lot for river smallies and I don't really get much of a fight on the dobyns. It's good though. Probably better for fishing for largemouth because they get bigger. The irod just feels great to me.

The irod rods are damn good for the money .. I still prefer the fury rods for the light stuff. For BIG swimbaits ill stick with the okuma shadow stalker or guide select swimbait rods..

Yessir! The fury worked great on my recent trip down to the new river. I got a few nice ones on the magdraft and getting them in the raft was easy. I almost got a guide select but ended up getting a couple ghost codes as they had an insane deal on black friday. I think it was buy one get one at 75% off. Crazy deal haha

The irod site needs some work… like pricing and consistency… but those rods look sweet! I’ve been such a super budget rod guy…. I think my highest $ rod is like $70 😂.

Interesting. I just get mine through tackle warehouse. These really remind me of the dobyns fury line. Budget friendly stuff over 100 bucks. These are so damn light it's crazy. Whatever rod blanks they use are great for the price. Most of my rods are around the 100-150 range except this finesse one I got from Elliot rods. It was like 325 hahah.
