@Salvador Budgie ......The head bobbing is what baby birds do when they want to be fed. They also do it when they are regurgitating to feed another bird. This head bobbing sometimes carries into adulthood. My 10 year old conure still does when he wants food. Also please remove the charm bracelet from your birds cage. They do this for exercise and when they're happy, and it can also be part of breeding behavior. My budgies bob their heads like that a lot but it seems like it started when their wings had grown out (They came clipped.) enough to fly, and so when they started making short flights, they would look where they were thinking of going and would bob their heads as if getting themselves psyched up to give it a try. Then finally they would jump and fly. But they do it to each other a lot now when they're chattering and having fun, too.

I didn't wait a month to get my parakeet Cloudie a new friend. My other budgie Skye Blu kinda looked like Skip, but she was a periwinkle color, more purplish. She died without warning, and I buried her in my front yard. The next day, my mom's dog had to be put down because she had an enlarged heart. Soon after we put her dog down at the vet, we went to Animal Kingdom and they only had 1 female parakeet left and she was all alone in the cage, so I said, "I'll take that one." Cloudie is also a female. I named the new one Sunryze Bay, because Cloudie's full name is Cloudie May. Cloudie is yellow and green with black markings, Sunryze is a really lemon merengue pie yellow. So cute. I couldn't let Cloudie be alone in the cage for long. Cute parakeets you have.
