Hi Rosie. My mum is a retired primary school teacher and has always said that the best tokens she received were cards made by the children- the more A4 folded in half with a picture the better! One child bought her a Bounty bar, clearly with his own pocket money. He remembered her saying that was her favourite chocolate bar. This is the gift she remembers more than any other and it was far cheaper, and meant more than fancy flowers, candles and boxes of chocolates. Great video- and some fab inspiration. I'm always absolutely in awe of all the different ways you show your kids that you care and that you love them unconditionally. I never had that so I always notice when parents show kids different versions of love. Also, very relatable about the eating something even when you think there might be something not quite right 😅 glad you're over the food poisoning now 🩵

As a teaching assistant I can honestly say that over the years I have most loved the gifts or cards that were just made by the children at home! The other gifts are so appreciated but as you say we do get tonnes of chocolate wine and bath stuff😊

I’m a primary teacher - we don’t expect anything! Have your little one take their time making them something and put their name on it - I’ve kept all of mine but mugs get binned after a while! We get so many we can’t keep them all 🙈❤

Linen will expand when you wear it .. I’m not a fan of linen . The navy pants look great on you , I would keep the navy cardy & top but I’d also keep the beige cardy it will be really versatile top ! Love your videos

My child had a teacher who loved refreshers squashies and they saw bar soap and showergel in that scent 75p each and used there own money to buy with a homemade card. I got an email saying they made her smile. The other gift for an excellent teacher was a clean steralized jar covered in stickers with a handwritten mrs x treat jar we already had the jar and the stickers so no extra cost for us.

Love the Cath Kidston purchases. No adult pjs on the website now. 😢 I did call into the Cath kidston outlet today, I got a fabulous dress with 70% off, so I can't complain. I asked about the store closure and apparently the Cath Kidston name has been bought by Next. Let's wait and see what happens there. 🌸

Giving gifts can be expensive always think it would be best if kids made their own cards and they could contain a pocket to add a bar in too. some great things as always love the vlogs glad you're over the food poisoning. I once had an egg custard from Greggs and made me so ill. xxx

I downloaded a couple of free thank you teacher poem printable and just laminated it was easy as my daughter has a few teachers and assistants etc ❤ but also costa doing lovely bright cups 5 for £10 and I downloaded a free printable coffee saying and put in sashes ❤ even for Father’s Day I have printed off a free printable to say what my dad means to me the kids have filled them out cost nothing ❤
