Thanks Mario! A7S iii is a tank inside. Haha keep trying with B&H each year. I applied at 5000 subs and at close to 10000 subs and got declined. Like no response decline. 3rd time is a charm. 😁

Sorry to hear about the accident Se. Good tips re insurance. It’s that fine print that’s always the case when it comes to claims. I had good travel insurance that replaced my D800 and 16-35mm when it went for a swim in Japan. Not too much excess.

Jacky, we are all still very confused about how the car ended there. To credit the driver, it was dark. A7S III makes it look like it's daylight. LOL

@@SePark Let there be light LOL. My friend was about to leave an insurance company bc it was too much per year, and told them he found a "better" price from another insurance. The same insurance came up with better pricing for him lmao so he stayed with them. It feels like they don't tell you anything unless it's the last straw (you leaving), then they come up with a proposal to make you stay lol.

So I was shooting a wedding and my 70-180 and my a7c slid off my tripod smh. I have full frame insurance and ppa. BUt i actually just hit up tamron to see how much it would cost to get fix and it was under 200$ so I didn't even need to go through my insurance. and tamron got it back to me fixed and all within 7 days. and this included the time for me to ship it out to them.

😱😱😱 W… T… H….?!?! That is crazy 🤯🫢😅 One bonus from my bread and butter lenses being 85GM + 35GM or 16-35GM on two bodies(Riii’s), is the second body is like having a back up lol!! But on video shoots I have those cams + a6600 as a C-cam/3rd back up even 🤔 I’m so happy your Siii survived 🙌🏽 Praying that you and your talents are never left in the field stranded without your tools brotha 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

My a7S3 with the Tamron 70-180 got knocked over from 15 feet high tripod by high winds. It broke the Tamron 70-180 but nothing to the a7S3 (it was in a cage too).

Ouch! 15ft!! Sorry for your Tamron lens. I don't think any lens would have survive that... Sony camera are tougher than it looks for sure.
