I've always wondered why big corporations don't try to use their influence to shape the culture into one where everyone is cool with people having different opinions. That way they could hire the absolute best for the job regardless of their opinions. But no. If anything, companies like Disney have only encouraged the cancelling, bridge-burning behavior.
