"SQL" is short for "Structured Query Language." People started calling it "sequel" because it was easier to say. Both "SQL" and "sequel" are used in the tech world to talk about databases. The pronunciation "sequel" originated from the term "Structured English Query Language," which was the original expansion of "SQL" when it was first developed.

For now I don't have any idea yet but most of my friends from India once they're contracts end in the company they are posting in LinkedIn telling that they are open for a job and indicates their skills and desired position. Most finds through online jobs. You can find a work at home setup in most online job searches.

Yung Ma'am and Sir nasanay tayo jan kasi ang history ng employment are influence by Japan which is very known as "hierarchy system" mejo malaking adjustment rin yan sa akin nung una nung maging employer ko is Australian pero I was brief nung agency na may under sa amin na bawal mo nga silang tawaging Ma'am and Sir. Anyway hindi ako sa Data Industry, I'm in design Industry pero nakakarelate ako sa experience mo. at first nasa manufacturing ako as maintenance staff then dun nagsimula yung career shift ko from maintenance to mechanical design. Nung una mejo frustrating kasi gusto ko talaga magkaclient as freelancer. Then 2022 I got this opportunity na mahire as remote mechanical designer sa Australia. After a year lumipat ako sa ibang agency gawa ng compensation now I'm working with American Company with the same position mejo ok compensation ng American compare sa Australian that's all I can say.

@AnnsEssence
@AnnsEssence 2 ай бұрын
Ahh. Oo iniisip ko din yan. If I were a newly graduate at magpu-pursue ako ng career sa data engineering ngayong 2024, I would still choose to explore SQL and database management systems. Yung mga pagkakamali na nagawa ko during my career is mainly dahil doon ako naka-focus. After that project, hindi na ako nag-de-deep dive doon sa mga tools and programming languages na ginamit ko before like SAS, Python, and tools like Informatica, PowerBI, and Spotfire (both are data visualization tools). Additionally I would also explore more on Data Visualization tools like PowerBi or Tableau.

It depends. If it's associate level or junior level it's from 18 to 25k, if it's analyst level it's around 27 up to 35k. If it's senior level it can range from 50 upto 90k (it always depends on your expertise level). This is based on the interviews and hiring agency that I've talked before. It also depends on the company that you are applying for. Most of them might offer lower than I mention but other might offer much higher than this especially when the employee is directly hired by the clients
