This was so helpful! I love how non-traditional your relationship sounds compared to what I've heard typically, mine is different than yours but I see the similiarities. It's so validating to hear that other dynamics have some of the same aspects of me and my caregiver's dynamic. I'm hoping for recovery and a long and wonderful life for you.

that's so wonderful that you have someone like him! my first (and only) relationship was like that, and it was the purest and greatest dynamic. like best friends, one caring for the other and understanding of the vulnerability of regression ^_^

I think a good way you could describe your relationship with your cg is like platonic soulmates! Me and my bestie love each other so much٫ but not in a romantic way at all and neither of us want to be in a relationship٫ so we call each other our platonic soulmate :3

I almost had someone but we were only 14 and because of that I couldn’t regress much bc my parents and he ended up making me more stressed and I ended it and he’s really desperate but I have to be careful cause he is one of the only people in my school that knows and he could tell anyone and I would be dead
