Haven't play DOTA in ages, and this makes me want to play again. Also just Pyrions commentary and takes on how a player should think about is honestly so helpful. As someone who only plays every few years I generally just jump to guides and follow exactly what they say, but his points on not thinking "this is how you build this character" but instead "this is what my team needs for this game" has been great at just shifting my mindset on how to tackle each game.

Glimmer and Force Staff are amazing items for supports and that comes solely down to the fact that you can use both of them on Friendly heroes. A support is as the name suggests literally a support hero so having these support items can very often save your carrier or get them into a position to win an engagement. Force staff can also be used offensively by casting it on an enemy forcing an enemy hero closer to you or alike

I played league of legends for almost a decade. All I know of DotA is playing the original in Warcraft 3 with Icefrog. I'm going to try to play DotA 2 and my ONLY knowledge of the game is Pyrion Flax. How well do you think I will do?
